Curious. As although I'm in the US, I never once got a photo of the package like you did. I've ordered a healthy amount of screwdrivers myself. Usually a courier would take a photo for delivery. That's why the photo seems suspicious to me - as I don't think LTTstore does that. Not to mention it's just on a desk, with an LTT deskpad. Like I said, I think the driver saw the sending address, and kept it for themselves (being an LTT fan as well). I do hope I'm wrong though.

With Netgear routers the one thing I've found is to always disable logs. You'll have to log into your router via the web portal and navigate to the admin tab, and click logs. Clear them and then disable them. That should solve the issue. It has for me at least.

Which Android phones have great long-term software support?
TempestCatto replied to creat0r's topic in Phones and Tablets
I wouldn't call what McD's serves "cheeseburgers" but as someone with an iPhone 6s myself I am very curious too. I don't want to downgrade to a new iPhone as I'll lose my 3.5mm jack and fingerprint reader. But at the same time I do prefer iOS over Android for the main reason you listed above. Apple claims roughly 5 years of software support and yet we've gotten 8. Much as I don't like them, I gotta say I'm very impressed. -

Coming soon: LTT Graphics Cards, LTTStore.com! -
Is it a game where if you leave it running you farm or earn more of something? Depending on the game you might be able to build or buy a cheap as chips PC to use a local server and just leave that run instead. Otherwise, if that's not the case, I see no reason to this. I'd just shut the game down and sleep your computer.

Google chrome is taking up 10 gigs of space on my C drive!
TempestCatto replied to bxrzerker's topic in Troubleshooting
It's most likely related to cookies, cache, history, etc. Temp files mostly. Safe to remove them. I use CCleaner, but you have to be careful with programs like that as they can delete things you don't want to. I'd download it, and uncheck everything except for anything related to Chrome. Just make sure you uncheck anything related to saved passwords and what not also. -

Apple Set to Challenge Latest EU Crackdown on Big Tech Dominance

I read DMA as DMCA and thought they were about to take over the music world or something. Dyslexia at it again -
YT Premium prices just went up, nearly doubling!

I only actively watch like, three people. Ltt, SlowMoGuys, and Cleetus McFarland. It's not hard to work around YouTubes bs and keep watching them. The only other thing I use yt for is the occasional tutorial video. So for me piracy isn't gonna get me those things. But it still upsets me enough to "alternatively aquire" music and what not. I'm so over paying for a million different services that each do one thing. You could fund half of my student pilot training with the amount you spend per month on all those services. -

For now, if you log out it works fine. Or you can also go into private/incognito mode and it works the same. Either way, it will piss off enough people for someone to find another work around. I've said it before on another thread, it's a game of cat and mouse. And until there's a good alternative, Tom and Jerry are gonna be fighting every day. I also think enough of the general populace are starting get overwhelmed by all the ads and subscriptions. I feel like a lot of those people may research into it just enough to do something about it for themselves. If that's the case one of two things could happen. One, the ads and subs get knocked back a few pegs. Or two, they just don't care and keep trying to drown us. I fear it's the latter however. (just my late night inebriated thoughts) -

Wonder how many people will cancel and just go back to pirating... If you're gonna shoot yourself in the foot, may as well be with a big ass gun I suppose. -
Is black Friday realy all that Close?
TempestCatto replied to CKatt's topic in New Builds and Planning
Honestly I stopped jumping at "sales" like this because more times than not, the sellers jack the price higher than normal, then mark it down a bit to make it seem like you're getting a deal. When in reality you'd save more if you buy it next month. -
Developing a AAA game like those I could see major changes drastically affecting performance. Whether good or bad idk, but I feel like it's impossible to accurately predict system requirements of an otherwise unfinished game. If 4 months before release they revealed system requirements, you went and saved then bought those parts, then 2 weeks before launch they come out and say you now need an even beefier system, you'd be rather annoyed (to put it lightly). I don't think what you're asking for is so possible with the way development and games in general work these days.

Streaming video and audio connection/buffer issues...save my sanity.
TempestCatto replied to IamJacks12's topic in Networking
You have Netgear hardware. Nothing wrong with them, mine serves me well. However I've noticed I have to keep logs turned off with any Netgear router. Not sure about their modems. But hop in the settings to your router and somewhere in the admin tab there should be "logs" disable them, then clear them. Try that out. Every damn Netgear I've owned that was the issue. They're otherwise perfectly fine, and serve me for many years. -

Glad to see my taxpayer money is going to the important stuff, like RGB gamer wifi routers. I mean, how else are they gonna play games with us? lol -
My account is "banned" now. FF uBlock Origin. However, I can watch anything in Private Browsing with uBlock still enabled. No ads, no "REEEEE DISABLE YOUR ADBLOCKER HUGH" I get that it's expensive to run such a site. But the amount of ads was just too damn much. If they were spaced out more, and way less intrusive, yeah I'd still be rockin' ads. The internet has imploded on itself. It's no longer all that useful, just a spidering of ads and spam. We'll never be able to go back.
