    parts calibration servers

Maybe I'm just used to really old tech, but this doesn't need to be a thing. I've replaced the screen, battery, and charge port assembly on my iPhone 6s. The parts were all from iFixit (not a sponsor) but I don't know if when I powered the phone back on it synced to said servers. I doubt it, nor is it necessary when you're replacing something like a battery. Apple just like using buzzwords to trick most people into thinking they need new muffler bearings every third oil change.

You know the spoon, fork and knife you use to eat food are harmful if consumed right?

You know eating metal, plastic, styrofoam cups are harmful if consumed right?

The little solder pellet in the non-accessible part of the vacuum bottle is not the dangerous thing here.

Yes glass half full and half empty. Everything is bad for you. But lead is more bad than some others. I know it doesn't come in contact with the drink. But why risk it?

  3. LTT has a CT scanner now? So we can finally get some GPU noods 0.0

In all seriousness, any kind of material that is inherently harmful for human consumption should probably not be anywhere near something humans use to consume. Even if it's not inside the part where drink goes. Idk, it just makes me uneasy knowing it's there. Thankfully, the LTT water bottle from LTTstore.com is lead free!

  4. (I've only read the headline and it reminded me of this) I wish they would do something similar to Amazon. If you already pay for a Prime subscription you can't really listen to music much anymore. Click on a song or album and it "plays something similar" with those songs you actually wanted to here eventually mixed in the pile. Sure you can pay more money to "unlock" those "features" but it's so irritating to essentially lose a feature you already paid for (and still technically pay for). First world problems I guess.

  5. I would assume this luck will vary between airports and tsa agents in general. Glad you didn't lose them though. But what would happen if the agent said you can't take it on board? Would you be able to some how stuff it in your checked bags? What if you didn't have checked bags, would they let you mail it? I worry I'll do the same thing at some point. I keep a stubby in my camera backpack.

  6. That's molex. Just pull them they take a good bit of force sometimes to pull apart. I'd rather see them plugged into a motherboard header if possible - but that's just me (they also may not have the plugs for that).

  7. I'm a fan of Eaton myself since they're pretty big in the enterprise market. LMG has a massive ass unit from Eaton as well. This is what I bought recently https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DK45T68?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I use it for my router, modem, cellular booster, and security camera homebase. That gets me about 2.3hrs of runtime. No idea how long my PC would last. But certainly long enough to save my game or work and shut down safely.
