  1. title says it all. I upgraded my cpu from a 1600 to a 3600x and when I turn on the computer, all the fans go full blast and it shows error code 8. I tried flashing the bios and taking out the memory, no luck, same error. specs of my computer are as listed: ryzen 5 3600x, wraith spire cooler 2060 super 16 gb 3000 MHz ram asus crosshair vi hero
  2. Basically my windows is refusing to update, and it hasn't updated since probably mid-2019. If I try to update, it gives me error 0x80070002. Troubleshooter finds no problems. I've followed about 15 possible solutions, none of which have worked. I tried clearing up space. Deleting temporary files. Unplugging my other drive. Spamming retry. I even tried resetting windows itself, but even that doesn't work anymore. And that doesn't even give an error code. It just says no.
  3. Ok, thank you. I actually changed it from that to the SSD thinking it was the Windows installer.
  4. I have the SSD with windows on it as the first boot option unless I'm supposed to have something else come first I believe that's right.
  5. IMO you probably should have gone for the 1060 3g, or saved a bit more and gotten the 1060 6gb. I personally think that the 1060s have the best price for performance.
  6. So recently I reset Windows as I have had problems with the install I had for a while. Everything has been functioning properly until this point. Basically, whenever I boot, my computer shows the ROG thing, then shows the Windows icon, then goes back to ROG, then black screens, tries to boot windows again, and then a screen shows saying: "No operating system found. Try disconnecting any other drives and try again. Press any button to continue." But, when I press a button, Windows launches normally. What? It isn't a life-ruining thing, just a minor inconvenience. If you have a fix for this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
