  1. haven't taken out the cpu and I have got spare ddr3 ram its just it won't fit in the socket
  2. There's No model number on the motherboard so i don't know This is the pc https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/support-product/6372?b=1
  3. I haven't touched the ram settings in the bios so I'm assuming the speed is set to manual.
  4. I changed the gpu and still the same problem. It only beeps when I reset the cmos, if I don't reset the cmos after I power it down and turn it back up it doesn't beep. I'm pretty sure I didn't spill anything on the pc. I'll try unplugging and replugging everything The blue screen error I had a whea uncorrectable error that blue screened randomly. I posted the problem on another forum here:http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3835347/whea-uncorrectable-error-find-solution.html#21581605
  5. . Tried the second and fourth slot than the first and then tried taking the m.2 didn't work I do have spare ram but all the other ram won't fit in the socket
  6. I have two sticks of ram, but I'm not sure whats the "correct spot? Do I plug them both in the correct spot or just one?
  7. I don't think there are any display ports on the motherboard and I don't think its a display device issue either because it worked fine before
  8. Just tried it with one ram stick and the m.2 ssd connected, still having the same problem Although I realize if I don't reset the cmos it doesn't restart and there's no beeps but still a black screen.
  9. I took out all the parts and put it on a cardboard box to troubleshoot it better. Because I was getting a blue screen and I think my motherboard is the problem, but now I run into this problem
  10. Pc Specs My pc specs i7 6700k gtx 970 16gb ram one hard drive and one ssd Manufacturer Acer Product Predator G6-710 I tried changing the graphics card, ram slots, resetting the cmos, Nothings working.
  11. The person I bought the graphics card from messaged me back. He said he'll help me.
  12. I'll be getting this psu: https://www.msy.com.au/nsw/auburn/550w-625w/20279-coolermaster-mpx-5501-acaab-au-mwe-550w-80-bronze-power-supply-unit.html It's not tier 3 but I don't have the money for any other better psu. Should be alright
  13. I Messaged him but he's not responding. I just put the graphics card in my system and it did the same thing, I have Intel Hd graphics so I was able to get a display with the card in. I noticed that the system wasn't picking up the graphics card too. I looked at some other forum posts and they all have the same symptoms and most of at the end are saying a dead card ;/ I feel like I broke something though when I opened the card. Do you want me to take a photo of the card opened and maybe you can spot something?

  15. No, I didn't test it before I opened the card up and applied new thermal paste, I bought this used gtx 670 from gumtree (A buying and selling place in Australia) that said it works.
  16. There was no smoke and I didn't see any blown capacitor when I opened up the GPU to replace the thermal paste. I tried before my gtx 560 in the same system with the same power supply and everything worked fine, the fans weren't spinning at 100% the display and no beeps. So why didn't it kill my gtx 560 too?
  17. I changed the Thermal paste on the gpu so I don't think its overheating. I'll try putting the gtx 670 in my main system which has a better power supply. Even if that doesn't fix it I think it's a good idea to get a new Power supply anyway for my system.
  18. When I turn on my pc there is no display with two short beeps and one long one and the GPU fan at 100%. I used a different video card and the pc showed a display so it's not the motherboard's fault, I switched the video card again to a gtx 560 which requires the same 2 six pins and everything worked fine so it's not the PSU fault. I tried taking out the cmos for 10min and putting it back in and that didn't change anything. So is something wrong with the gtx 670? Specs i5 750 manli gtx 670 thermaltake Tr2 RX 550 (Not sure how old) ms-7613 ver 1.1 motherboard 8gb ddr3 ram Windows 7 64bit Weird thing, This pc was an Oem and it had originally 4gb of ram. I upgraded it two another 4gb. When I took out the 4gb of ram i put in the pc and left the original 4gb the pc stopped beeping but there still was no display and the fans were still at 100%
