  1. I was so excited for this and having the complete 6+ hour shoot on floatplane makes it even better, happy customer over here
  2. No no, I used the included hangers for the fixed frame screen, I just meant that I didnt have the surface area on my wall to support having a larger size screen on it, it would have extended right to the roof, would have looked bad
  3. Ya, If the 120 would have fit I would have went with it because my price difference was only like 70 bucks but my wall simply wouldnt hold it and since I am a renter having the slightly smaller panel will make it easier to install in a new place when I move
  4. Got my new Hisense UST projector and screen set up last night, have spent all day inside using it and it’s been fantastic. When I have all my lights turned on it’s ALMOST as good as when they are all off. I need to make a slight adjustment on the height of my screen as I have a 1 1/2 inch black bar at the bottom that I can’t get filled in without raising it but that’s minor.
  5. Id guess maybe they are aiming to open backorders either on the 29th or the 5th during WAN show? But that is just a guess on my part.
  6. What spurred this on? Did I miss some breaking news of some kind? And for what its worth my dad was 100% blind and was a computer programmer for a Canadian University dating back to the early to mid 80s and only retired after also having a stroke which gave him only partial use of his left hand. Growing up we definitely werent being "taken care of" by the government
  7. Ok so I have to know, what did a whale ticket get you? I see they are sold out but I wanna know what they paid for
  8. Oh lol, I thought he meant he wanted to be able to buy them on the LTT store so he could just have them at home to chill out with, that would be weird
  9. Thats actually a bit creepy and getting close to the "obsessed fan" edge
  10. Maybe in the same way that 1 inch is 2.54 cm?
  11. Long Story Short eARC is lossless signal for atmos where as Arc is lossy.
  12. So I currently have a Sonos play bar, sub and play3 surrounds and its fine. But I just bought a Hisense Laser TV and its WiSA capable which is making me consider upgrading. Klipsch is probably what I would be thinking but I just wanted to see if anyone had experience with the WiSA standard in general and if its been reliable performance/connection. I like the idea of refraining from having a receiver but still being able to expand my setup
  13. They have discussed it before but its a logistic/accounting nightmare to operate in multiple countries when you are as small as they are. They are giant for a youtube based company but small in the grand scheme of things. I wouldnt expect to see any kind of European outlet any time soon
  14. Turn it around. "You know Sir I was just asking myself the other day, "Why do I work where I do, whats holding me there?" So I ask you sir, why should I remain with your company?" See if that asshole likes answering a ridiculous question off the cuff like that.
  15. USB-C is physically inferior in my opinion. The most fragile part of the connecting is the center divider which USB-C has on the inside of the device, meaning if it breaks you have to get the device repaired, where as the most fragile part of a lighting connection is on the cable, not the device so if it breaks you just need a new cable. For that reason alone I am annoyed AF that lightning wasnt opened up to become the dominate connector as opposed to USB-C
  16. Ok so I dont have much in the way of advice on how to sue a company like Dell except that I seriously doubt you even could sue them in small claims. Also if you are still inside the 30 day billing cycle all might not be lost yet. And finally you cant sue for the privacy leak without being able to prove cost of damages, which I dont think you can do. You getting phone calls from scammers has no monetary value. With all that said, im not a lawyer
  17. @El_Sanchothe guys are live right now on stream so I wouldnt expect to see much response right now from Linus as he is clearly occupied but hopefully the support guys see this
  18. This is definitely odd behavior for them based on others experiences on here. Like I know they get backed up but ive never heard of them just flat out ignoring someone like that before. Maybe @LinusTech can help expedite the staff to get you an answer
  19. Ill be honest, im shocked to hear the support for the tan, to me the grey looks WAY WAY better. But im gonna guess if there is enough support to do tan they will consider it. Or maybe they are coming, it does say on the site that stock was super limited on launch but they are getting more towards the end of summer so maybe there will be tan in that and they just didnt have any in the first batch
  20. I grew up in a town of 500 people, I live in a city of about a million now, I would prefer to be in a bit bigger city but this is ok as it sits
  21. Id imagine that policy will go away quickly, under no circumstances would I EVER pay that fee. And I think most would do what you did and just leave the store.
  22. I hear you but thats a precisions screw driver and not a full size one like the LTT one, also the one you linked I dont believe is ratcheting so basically its not at all the same thing
  23. I think this one does it doesnt it? Didnt have time to scrub the whole video to see for sure
  24. So this is a compromise that YOUR OPINION is that its not worth it. But if you have a job where you travel for weeks at a time and want to game on your off time in a hotel room a gaming laptop is a far superior way for most to do it as opposed to a SFF machine. Your ignorance is actually kind of amazing on this topic. You keep saying this isn't about your opinion, than you keep listing compromises that aren't worth it IN YOUR OPINION. You're either a troll or dont know the difference between opinion and fact. Once you decide which you are and correct it feel free to join the conversation again.
