When did LTT say their superchat was broken? I notice others here are saying it hasn't worked for months, even though LTT could easily contact someone at Youtube to tell them its broken. And I'm guessing LTT doesn't care enough that their superchat box is broken.

Months ago, before merch messages were ever made super chats were broken, thats what spurred on the idea to create merch messages. People were sending messages and they werent showing up in the dash board, and this was before they had a producer so there was just no way they could just catch the messages on the fly, especially at the speed youtube chat used to move at (not sure if its still blazing fast, I watch on floatplane now). But anyways that was the problem, they told youtube they were broken and they get ignored over and over again, or told its fixed and it wasnt.

  2. I know I am in the minority but I hate this move. And In hate any connector that puts the most fragile part of the port into the device as opposed to the cable. The USB-C most fragile part of the connection is the center divider in the device, just like how it was on micro USB, the most fragile part of the lightning port is the actual cable end itself. Cables are cheap to replace, ports on phones arent. I get the technological advantage of USB-C but this is counter productive as a way to keep ewaste down IMO.

  3. So Im not gonna pretend to be an expert on PC power supplies, but I have worked in Car Audio/ accessory installations for over 20 years and as soon as I saw that new connector I was concerned. Ive seen way to many instances of damage caused from under specing power wire ran to amplifiers in cars that have caused melted fuseholders as well as melted wire or other damage to vehicles through negligence. This connector seemed to scream similar outcomes to me. As I said I am no expert but I am definitely gonna watch this with interest

even if you do order it  it will never  arrive 😞

You need to chill out. Its been quite sometime since ive seen a drama queen at your level. Your messages in the backpack thread scream "entitled child that cant handle real life". I dunno if you are having personal problems in your real life and you are just directing that energy into this site or if you are just an entitled prick but either way you arent contributing anything constructive.

As for the knife based on what he said on WAN  it certainly sounds like they are coming back, which is good as I would like to get one next time I do an order.

Depends what you get. To me you can't beat their ratchets. I have multiple brands and always grab my snap ons. Combo wrenches, same thing. They feel great in the hands and the flank drive teeth are great. Sockets, meh. I use Taiwan made sockets every day. I don't grab my snap on sockets unless I am dealing with a rounded bolt as a last effort attempt to save it before hammering on a socket. Their screwdrivers are great. I like their shape combined with the rubberized grip. Plus they feature the "flank drive" grooves on phillips head drivers.

I haven't been able to use the LTT driver much at work this week other than a few door panels and some small interior things. Been kinda slow this weeks for screw related stuff. So far its up there with my favorite hand tools in my box. Need to give it more work before an actual review.

Sounds like you are doing similar work to me, I cant wait till I get my screwdriver to put it up against my Snap-On ones. I watched the reviews on the LTT one but I definitely wanna do my own side by side in my daily job

  6. I currently run a Hisense 100l5G as I live in a basement suit and 100 inch was the biggest I can fit. Its fantastic for everything EXCEPT I think there is a bit to much latency for gaming if its something like a fps. I need to game some more on it to see if its actually a hardware problem or if I am just trash lol, its still new to me and Im really out of practice. With that being said now that I have this thing I would never go back to a 65-75 like I had before. The picture quality isnt as good as an OLED obviously but its overall pretty fantastic and I love the big screen for movies and sports.

You will need to recreate the raid array on the new platform. So back it up and restore the backups.

Id just get a large external hdd, thats the cheapest way to back it up.

So there is no way for me to just move the drives over without backing them up?

Issue with the LTT driver is the durability. It won’t last as long as pretty much any brand name driver and is a downgrade on the megapro that it’s based off

What are you basing that on? I assume you arent basing that entire thing off of the one broken one from Jayz2cents but I havent seen any other testing showing that they have durability issues

  9. The click bait controversy honestly has always kinda puzzled me. I don't think there is a single time Ive clicked on an LTT video and now know at least roughly what the video was gonna be about. Like ya I get the titles aren't exactly all encompassing and there can be an argument made there but overall Ive never seen a video where I clicked and thought "this isn't at all what I thought it was gonna be"

  10. Hey im building a plex server/nas with some stuff I have laying around. I am using a 7700k, a rtx3060, 3-4 spinning drives and an SSD. No RGB, probably 4-5 case fans and thats about it. I dont really intend on gaming or anything, just plex and might use it for web browsing and what not as it will be in my main room beside my entertainment unit. Im just wondering how much juice I need? I have an old PSU sitting here that works fine but I would rather just buy a new one for reliability reasons.

So I choose to remain optimistic and hope that there is some sort of black shaft allocation in each wave.

I hope so too, I was VERY early in the first wave (like within the first 60 orders) and I wanna use this thing in my shop during my busy season which is fast approaching

I mean, there's an actual difference in quality (sometimes) between "factory built" furniture and IKEA. So I don't think this is a great comparison to PC's.

I think his point is pretty valid actually. He wasn't making a quality comparison, his point was not everyone wants to or is able to build their own PC so they will pay a premium to a company to do it for them.

To the original video I think my only real problem with it is that its a 850w psu with a 3080ti. If you OC it at all you might end up with a problem when its also using a 12900k. When they upgraded the build on their site to a 3090 now for $3400 did they change the psu as well?

I just went and checked, they did not upgrade the PSU, HOWEVER they have dropped the price to 2999.99 USD now

Filled in the form. Suggestion for the next time: put english language first, then native. (unless you're 110% most of the people who fill in the form, prefer your local language)

Or at the very least dont have both languages in the same paragraph, it made it very hard to read, to the point it annoyed me so much I almost just closed the window, drove me up the wall
