  1. Hi guys thanks for any help. I just finished my new build custom hard line water cooled. and it looks GREAT but it can't seam to find my RGB controller or the cooler master software is not installing right? so it does have alot of RGB cpu and gpu blocks. water res top and bottom and 4 fans. the cpu block is in a MB header and works. the 4 fans are all in a corsair lighting node pro and are working. however the gpu block then 2 strips in the res and a outside strip all pluged in to a coolermaster RGB hub can't be controlled. they are all on and sync and rainbowing. it shows up in devices under mouse, keyboard and pens. as the MasterFan Pro RGB. only thing i could think of is some kind of control problem because my MB only has 1 internal USB 2.0 port so i'm using a NZXT USB hub to turn 1 in to 3. but my front panel usb is working (headset) and the 3rd is the corsair controller. Thanks Caat
  2. Hi all So this seams a bit odd..... so i bought a pump res combo https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-xres-140-revo-d5-rgb-pwm-incl-sl-pump. not know that it had such a short res. as cool is everything EK is, the Configurator kind of sucks... So i bought a new taller res and it came with it's own base and top cap. https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-res-x3-250 Now my water return has to come from the top as none of the tubes i could get are long enof to reach from the top of my case to the bottom. (thermatake core P5) as most of you know the EK top only has 1 port on it. So i took the base off the new res and used that as a toper and now i have 5 ports on top. Fixed right.... wrong. As i was leak testing i found one on the res return. 1st i thought my tube was just a little of flat but i noticed while testing that even when i tightened the fitting down very hard i could still pull the tube out. then i noticed that the ports on this base unit are ressed so a plug sits flush. and when using a compression fitting the bottom of the threads go down in to this recession not allowing the collar to go all the way down and hold the tube tightly on the o rings. i tried loosing the fitting in the base so all the threads are showing but this cause it to leak from the thread side instead of the collar side. anyone know why this is happening? if i go buy a extender something like (https://www.microcenter.com/product/486720/g-1-4-8-mm-block-extender---black) do you think that would fit in the base so the compression would fit? Pics are 1 the recesses of the ports. 2 a compression with the threads just started. enof that i can't pick it up. 3 screwed all the way in finger tight not wrenched to seal the o ring. and 4 how far i had to back it out to get the collar to seat but the threads leaked. I hope someone has some ideas. Thanks Caat
  3. i am using a insert. this is why i'm not having any inner/outer radius problems.
  4. title says it all. doing my bends and i keep getting the sides of my bends bulging out. not the inside or outside of the bend but the outside. anyone know what is causing this? Thanks
  5. so i just got my order of cables in and i'm PISSED.... i ordered a 24pin ATX, 8 pin EPS, 4 pin EPS, 8pin Pcie, 6pin Pcie, 2 sata cables, and 1 molex (for water cooling pump). i also order a custom RGB design SSD backplate. and what i got in is 100% wrong every cable is wrong in some way. the 4 out of the 8 cables that i got have the right colors but not the right pattern. the atx as the wrong heads on the power supply side so i can't even plug it in. mine is 7 wide theres is 9. the EPS is just the wrong pattern. the Pcie cables have silver cable combs on them instead of black and the 2nd one is another 8pin instead of a 6pin.... and it's a solid head so i can't even split it apart if i wanted to.... and i guess someone thought i did not need my other 4 cables? or my SSD backplate? but i did need a RGB strip kit that i did not order. and the best part is on the 21st in 3 days will be 2months! sense i placed my order and today is 5 weeks sense i finalized the design of the backplate. So all in all i'm calling this a 0/10 for 4 wrong cables and 4 missing cables 1 missing backplate and a RGB strip kit that i did not order. I went with these guys cause i thought they where the best seeing them on LTT, Jayz, paul and kyle and this is what i get. and if your 2 months behind on orders TELL THEM! i would have just buildt my computer with my normal cables and been enjoying for the last 2 months till my stuff came in vs having it riped apart on my table this whole time. I guess for anyone else out there take this as a warning. Hope you all have a been day then i just did, A very pissed off Caatraa
