  1. Yeah @maxtch is right, 4790 is still a top cpu, maybe for at least 2 more years. Spend your budget on the most expensive video card you can get. For 250-350 you can get a GTX1070 or a 2060 maybe.
  2. You will need a wireless dongle. There is not one built into the motherboard.
  3. @MageTank 5% to 7% is nothing! Practically irrelevant. Why did intel stop supporting quad channel memory? Even though it's twice the bandwidth? Because the performance gain is in the single digitals even in the best niche cases. Shit I wouldn't be surprised if 900MHZ Single Channel is 90% of the best quad channel 3200MHZ chips. All that work for so little gain.
  4. Macbook with 8GB of ram. Ram really doesn't matter these days with fast SSDs. Mac is expert at managing ram, it's not a windows hog. No problems with Windows Updates, no stupid notifications about trying new products.
  5. Bullshit, 4790 is not a bottle neck. Those games run on counsel, and that has a potato for a cpu. Dram frequency makes no difference. There's nothing in the world that reads and writes 35 Gigabytes a Second to the ram. What issues are you running into? Do you have the newest drivers? Doubt it's anything hardware related.
  6. And if that dosen't work, unplug your harddrive and boot from DVD without and harddrives pluged in.
  7. Go to Secure Boot in bios and set it to "Other OS", then boot from a recovery usb or cd.
  8. In contract law, contracts that ask you to preform an illegal activity are unenforceable. So you can ignore that clause, as no judge would agree to enforce it. Secondly, no Class Action Waivers have ever been enforced. Which essentially means Class Action Waivers are useless and illegal, (except in the case of Employe-Employer class action). So you're completely safe.
  9. @Spotty, if he appeals, and youtube rejects his appeal he may get a copy right strike and potentially having his video with 40mill views and links pointing to it removed.
  10. @mynameisjuan, no. This is an original song made by the FatRat with over 40 million views. Anything you make is instantly copyrighted, always! (Linus doesn't have to file paperwork for every video you he makes) No one can steal it from you. You're thinking of trademark. In this case a company called PowerRecords uploaded a copy of HIS song and then copyright claimed his original. This is definitely illegal, but youtube won't do jack shit about it.
  11. There's this music producer, TheFatRat, who made [this song] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR-eV7fHNbM) over 2 years ago now. The song got tens of millions of views, he allowed people to use it as long as they credited him. A few days ago, some slimy fucking company or label or something goes and reuploads his song, removes any reference to him, claims it as their own, and fucking copyright strikes him and won the dispute. Let me reiterate that; some asshole stole this guy's original work, copyright claimed it as their own, and won. In Youtube's eyes, it's their song now. You can find more about it [here] (https://twitter.com/ThisIsTheFatRat/status/1072933046939193344).
