This is the reason this bothers me so much, also showing an i3 as a gaming part isn't overly realistic but I'm sure it will work fine for someone but to claim its a gaming processor is far from accurate.

No Harm to amazon but i was of the belief that RAM was already plural so this kinda low key hurts me to see. Random access memories just doesnt sit well with me.

not going to lie to you I've never really heard of those brands before i'll assume that they're all fairly high end and reputable i'd probably put it down to me not being a massive audiophile

i listen to a little bit of everything from metal to soul the only thing i'd avoid is country to be honest with you (yeah don't judge me for that just not something i can get into) i'd prefer closed back but im open to trying something new if it has better quality of course

A friend of mine is having issues with his pc. He's been trying to run monster hunter world and his whole pc crashes.(seemingly completely random can be minutes can be an hour) I've had him run a CPU stress test (aida64) without it crashing Ive had him run a GPU stress test (heaven) still no crashes the system is under a year old. I assumed it would be a power delivery issue he didnt have an 8 pin on his motherboard for a number of months he purely ran it on the 4 pin (12pins total) im curious if that could have caused a power delivery issue in the motherboard will it need an RMA ? any other advice on what to check would be appreciated.

Ive been using process explorer to try and delete a file. but it cannot find the file when i try to delete the item it refuses because its being used by another program. any idea on how i can delete this item before i go a bit on the mental side i just wanna do a clean install of Icue

Okay guys recently i bought and installed a corsair AIO and I'm really not a fan of rgb puke. So i attempted to install Icue software to control the Rgb it got to about 65% and froze there as it tried to set up system services , the program then acted as if it was installed but it wouldn't pick up the AIO as a customizable device. I started the uninstall process and tried a reinstall but to no luck i check the folders and some of the old program files remained. When i try delete the folders concerned they tell me its being used by another program and i check all my processes and i cant find anything with icue or corsair on it any advice on how i can forcibly remove these files for a clean installation?

I'm litterally getting nothing to the screen I'm gonna try reseating my cpu next and see if that changes anything also really weirdly my mouse Is no longer lighting up even tho its connected

I've done the nuts to finger tight I didnt want to put too much pressure on it

I replaced my stock cooler with an aio recently. I'm doing a test boot to make sure everything is running and I've encountered a no post. So far I've: Made sure All power is connected Reseated my gpu Rebooting should I check my cpu to see if it's not seated correctly ? would that change anything ?

I should have just gone for the corsair aio but it didnt feel right at the time ... well its ordered now delivery in just over a week... all this because I was bored. It's a tight fit not sure how to feel about it

okay so I'm having a bit of an issue with cable routing for my gpu with my nh-d15 cooler. should I go under or over and my 24 pin kinda blocks some of the airflow from the front fan any tips ?(I'm working in the meshify c

Yeah i can but doing this repeatedly on startup can get rather irritating id rather fix than tolerate.

So i was messing around with gigabytes software for my gpu to see if i could get my gpu's annoying flashing rgb to stay on one colour. I somehow managed to accidentally change the resolution of my PC in the app and now every time i restart it goes from 2560x1440 to 800 by 600 or some other smaller resolution and for the life of me i cant find the setting in either aorus engine or gigabytes "xtreme gaming" engine(im assuming its this one as every time i open the app my resolution changes). i don't know how but even if i uninstall them the setting still remains and still changes my resolution on restarting my PC. Worst part is i couldnt even change the rgb presumably because on my non gigabyte motherboard..... any help would be really appreciated

got it working by booting through bios after a few tweaks, although saying that restarting my main pc again I was getting no display out to the monitor so I'm assuming the monitor was at fault here (another restart fixed everything) thanks for all the feedback guys it was appreciated.

I also have a pc plugged into the monitor via display port could this be causing the conflict(although the pc is not turned on) I just don't understand why pre windows update it booted into windows perfectly on native resolution without issue.

im currently using hdmi the board only has hdmi and VGA output. So vga isnt really an option with the current monitor

I was finishing off a web browsing pc build that hasn't got a dedicated gpu. I get into windows the first time with ease.I finish the setup and allow it to update, when the restart finishes I get a notice that does the typical old school DVD thing jumping across my screen saying "Input not support". I restart the system again same thing... I can boot into bios is there any way I can fix any resolution errors from here. (note this is currently plugged into my 32" widescreen monitor) Any ideas would be really helpful

so yeah any idea of how this fan splitter is powered I assumed it was female to female, now I'm starting to think it was molex powered which gave me no fan speed control at the time. which I think is why I replaced it but I dont think I have anything to power it now any advice ?

Using some of my old parts to do a build for my grandmother her pc is nearly 15 years old and well overdue an upgrade she mainly uses facebook and general web browsing so it wont need much i dont think,from my old build the spare parts i have are: Ryzen 5 2400G(with cooler) 2T harddrive Case could some of you guys set me up with the best option for motherboard, power supply and ram etc i would need to make a decent job of a basic web surfing pc for her any help would be really appreciated. Also the fan splitter in the case needs a female to female fan cable which i have no idea how to source i believe ive lost it somewhere unfortunately. (its only a 3pin not a pwm fan)i think its just to run power to the splitter via the motherboard if you guys could do me a partspicker UK list if it wouldnt be too much trouble
