  1. And that's where the dillema comes I really love playing with cards (OC) on air (just to start and see how far it goes) then water and last ln2 at a friend's lab just to see if we can break any records The other part of the story is that i want to have it be able to hold up for at least another 3-4 years on new games for at least 1080p 60fps if not 1440p 60fps (the higher the quality, the happier i'd be) So ? (i also want to be able and run vr games at least next year )
  2. Well that's true and the 3gB of vram is what hurt me the most. But i really want to play with that bad boy and push it to its limits (on air then water and maybe ln2 later at a friend's lab).
  3. It's a crazy 780ti kIngpIn one though ... (imo it's a Legendary card of its 7xx series) Such a dillema
  4. Hello there beautiful forum people So i found a fully working 780ti Classified kIngpIn edition at the crazy price of 350 Euros. My thoughts were : Used 780ti classified kIngpIn (EVGA) (Play a lot with it :3) 350 euros or Used 980 SC (EVGA) (Not to be extremely Hyped) 390 euros or New 970 Strix (Asus) (It's new but nothing like a kIngpIn) 360 euros Comment below your oppinions Thanks in advance (Also interested in VR compatibility)
  5. My current ssd is a 4years old sandisk which i had found at about 60 euros (was a deal back then) I would really like to make an upgrade (as premiere pro and photoshop dont really like hdd's) Good luck to everyone (Also is the giveaway worldwide ? )
  6. They are hyping it up a lot on twitter.... amd interns are hyping it up too much i could say ...
  7. Well an A10 7870k also is kinda good at games as well... soo if the use is only going to be browsing at the internet you could get away with a smaller, more budget friendly a8 ? What is your current mobo ? (just to check compatibility)
  8. Well AMD says that their cpu's are gonna be the best in the world ... but well we'll see that once they're released
  9. Hey there and welcome to the forum seeknothing Well what is your budget in total ? Btw the latest A series from amd is the kaveri A10 7870k which is about 130$msrp... And i would also probably go ahead and get a more "reliable" mobo like Gigabyte, Asus, msi or asrock Also what is your formfactor and do you intend to get a gpu later ?
  10. Well i didnt even need to get my voltages higher than stock... i actually dropped them because honestly at 3.1ghz my 8300 barely needs 1.1v (unlike my q6600 which sucks my neighborhood's electricity and my pocket as well... (it needs 1.45volts to reach 3.5ghz ) but anyways the chipset on my mobo is what really limits me anyways (if only i had a better mobo, i would expect this 8300 to reach 4ghz @1.4v and i would even try to push it further )
  11. Well thanks for your help I did consider changing my mobo a few years ago but welp i will probably be upgrading to intel's next gen cpu's
  12. Yeah i know that Well as for ram oc i have no problem ... its running fine w/o heating up that much at about 800mhz So yeah ... that is the only thing that bothers me no unlink options so that i can oc even just a bit higher (yes indeed this is a q35 chipset) So much headroom Q.Q
  13. Sooo my problem is that there are no inlink settings (asus p5e vm-do) .. I dont really like messing with the pci freq either (enen though it works) but only if i raise it i can oc... Else it wont boot no matter the voltage... And even then i can reach max 3.1ghz with 403mhz fsb 1.05v and 120mhz pci freq
