Exactly same issue, sorry I have no solution but I literally got on the forum to ask around for this, just happened and only on my pc. Is yours on a specific pc too?

So I just barely upgraded my processor from an i5-9600k to an i9-9900kf, turn the computer back on, get on Google and search multiple things, one of which was this site. It pulled up Twitter links, or other stuff and only 1 or 2 results per search. I search on my phone just fine with the same searches, I Uninstalled chrome, I tried editing the settings, but I can't help but wonder if it's related to my cpu replacement seeing as how this is the first time I've seen it

I've always been a big believer in corsair vengeance for ram, mainly because they're a solid choice at a good price range, but i'm wondering if there's another choice that maybe is a better deal or better option than corsair. I'm looking specifically for a 32gb set(16x2) white and possibly rgb that runs at least 3200mhz ddr4

So 550w is good for my rig then, even considering possible oc?

I5 9600k(may upgrade in future) Asus rtx 3060ti dual fan Gigabyte b360m mobo 32gb corsair ram(locked at 2600mhz) 2tb m.2, 1tb 2.5 inch ssd, 2tb hdd All on a corsair cx550 watt 80 plus bronze psu. I'm a little more than worried I'm overusing my psu, especially since it's not a very good one anyway, just wondering if it's worth upgrading now and what wattage should I aim for and what brand is a good one.

I tried cloning storage to new m.2 ssd and did it the wrong way. Now I'm trying to erase everything on the new drive and start over but there are some partitions I can't delete when going into disk management and it splits the storage into 2 separate unallocated spaces(see pictures) Is there a way to fix this or should I try returning the drive?

It only started today, I tried playing modern warfare two times now. They just updated the game so idk if that's the problem, but the first time I managed to play two games completely through, it's only when I tried closing the game did it black out and my fans started running 100%. I couldn't get my pc to respond at all, and had to force shut off. The second time was in the middle of a modern warfare match, same thing happened. Is this because of modern warfare? Should I be concerned about my gpu? this has never happened before and idk what to do. I checked other games and it has the same problem. I pulled the gpu out and put it back in and tried opening the game again, I don't have the pop-up anymore, but I don't dare getting in a game Specs: Rtx 2060 single fan edition, i5-9600k, 16gb 2400mhz, 550w psu

So you're saying that I need to get g sync or free sync if Im going to spend 200+ on higher frequency monitors? The gigabyte monitor you recomended has amd freesync, but I have nvidia 2060, will it still work?

What's the big deal with g sync? What does it do? And what's the difference between flat and curved monitors?

I would go with a micro atx case and mobo, as they are probably the cheapest route out of the three sizes. As far as a cpu cooler, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is my base recommendation, by far not the best cpu cooler, but in my experience the best for budgeting. Just don't go overclocking your cpu and expect it to keep up without checking The problem with mini itx cases is that they are so small they can heat up really easily if it doesn't have good air flow. If you can get the fans in and can afford the itx, go for it, but the atx or micro atx are a lot easier to keep cool as there is more space for airflow

Yeah, no. I can't have both. I get one or the other, my 2060 would fry before I get both, and I can't upgrade my gpu for a while now.

Do you really need a liquid cpu cooler? That seems a little overkill for a budget build, especially with a 1660 super. And is there a reason you're going with mini itx?

Get a better power supply, at least a 80+gold I'd drop the i5 cpu, though it'll be okay for now, I'd at least get an i7 or go amd for newer games. A few people claim that the 10th gen intels aren't worth it, as they haven't gotten the software figured out yet and they're really unreliable. Don't know for sure how true that it, but that may change your mind. If you're trying to save money, get rid of the m.2 ssd and get something a little smaller for now, you can upgrade later when you have the money

My current build is i5-9600k 16gb ram rtx 2060 Right now I have a 1080p generic monitor, I'm trying to decide which way to upgrade on display. I don't plan on upgrading my build any time soon, and don't want to feel forced, so I initially thought to get a higher refresh rate instead of going for resolution, but I figured I'd ask some experts. Is refresh rate really that worth it? I play fps games and people around me claim refresh rate makes it so much smoother, but I've never noticed anything wrong with 60hz. Is there really that much difference between 1080p and 1440p? Will I notice? Or will it only matter if I jump it up to 4k(which I won't be doing)? I guess if I don't go with high refresh rate, my question is will my gpu be able to handle AAA games at 1440p 60fps? I'm don't care about the super demanding AAA titles like cyberpunk or red dead, I won't be playing that anyways, but for example Call of Duty Cold War? Modern Warfare? Or the single player games, like Horizon Zero dawn, and new ones coming out in the next year?

I've been using the recording program that's built in with windows 10 for months now, it's worked awesome for me, but I've been trying to bind the "record last five minutes" feature to a quick button on my mouse so that I don't have to look down at the keyboard and press win+alt+g. Especially since I play fps games, "G" ends up being a key in the game and using it for the recording shortcut makes me through my grenades or other equipment. I've looked in the settings for xbox game bar, and it acts like I can make my own bindings on top of the basic ones for every function. However, it does not work. I've tried switching it to alt+/, but it does nothing. I have a razer mouse, so as long as I can change the binding to something that doesn't have the windows button on it, I can set the binding to a quick button on my mouse. Any help? Update: Now every time I try to get in the game, a popup says DirectX has found an unrecoverable problem, then the game closes.

Don't think it's mATX, can't give a decent picture as it's in a crowded case. Yes that looks very similar to mine, a few things are different but the screws holes are all the same and the pci ports are all right. My main concern is if it'll fit in a case that isn't hp. I know how the manufacturers design their products to only fit in their stuff, and I'm hoping that's not the case with my mobo

Just as the title implies, I'm trying to move my motherboard to a new case for better airflow, but I don't want to buy it without knowing if it'll fit. Is my mobo an atx board? Will the io ports line up, will the screws line up?

I'm considering getting a gpu upgrade, mainly for ray tracing, and I'm wondering if it'd worth it. I have an i7 4770, I already know the gpu is overkill for the cpu and I wont be using the GPU to it's full advantage. What I want to know, is will my cpu be able to handle ray tracing at 60fps 1080p?

Right now I have 12gb of ram in my pc, 1 8gb stick and 1 4gb. While I'm playing games, it lags occasionally, specifically during firefights (in fps games) and I'm trying to figure out why. My cpu isn't running too heavy and my gpu is only at like 60%. I wondered if having odd sizes and brands of ram will affect my performance...is this possible?

Dell optiplex i3-3220 8gb ram I'm using windows 7 because this computer used to be windows 7 before the hdd was taken out, and I don't have a windows 10 copy anywhere
