  1. It's not the latency between the "PC" and the server that's the issue, it's the input lag.
  2. So.... being a curious sucker I signed up for the discounted trial of shadow.tech after the LTT video about it. This one, in fact: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BQ4bXNdEQI I just tried it - and as good as the latency may claim to be, for FPSes it was like playing as if my mousemat is covered in honey. It's probably fine for anything else less latency sensitive, but it was suggested that it could handle any PC game, and could "replace" a PC Gaming rig. It certainly can't. I can totally imagine it being used for mobile video editing/graphics, even live video switching/streaming, just not games. And that's fine. I get it - the technology isn't quite there yet. No problem. But I don't want to pay for something that doesn't work yet for my purposes. I've asked for a refund. The thing that set off alarm bells for me, though was from the point of ordering they say it takes 15 days to set up "your Shadow". Which is a bit of a suspicious number, as it's exactly 1 day more than the EU "cooling off" period, meaning that if they do take the maximum time and you then decide once getting the service that you no longer want it, the regulations are not on your side. Fortunately in my case they took significantly less than 15 days, so I am within that period where I am within my rights to request a full refund. So... yeah. Lets see what happens. EDIT: They've accepted my request to refund
