  1. Lightweight apps like Chrome and Discord are on my SSD while games are on my HDD but the games run smoother than the applications.
  2. So, recently, out of the blue, my applications such as Chrome, Discord, sometimes even Task Manager, started lagging for no apparent reason. All I know for certain is that it is not because of malware, incompetent hardware, or something taking too much of computer resources. When I check task manager, I'm normally at 50% CPU and 50% RAM at most. My PC spec is an i7-8700K, GTX 1070, 16 GB DDR4 Memory so it's unlikely to be a case of "you have trash computer". I have also ran multiple scans with Windows Defender and yet there are no issues. This is an especially confusing and annoying case for me since I can barely even watch YouTube when everything except for my games and desktop are running at 5 FPS. If any of you can give some tips on how to fix this or if you had the same problem, it would be great if you could tell me how I can fix this. Thanks.
  3. Around a year ago, I had purchased an Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse from Dell, but, just today, something seems to have broke as the cursor no longer moves from my mouse. At first, the mouse became slightly jittery, so perhaps it could have been malware, I thought. But after a quick Windows Defender scan, no threats were found and my computer seemed clean. Plus, using a different mouse had absolutely no jitter and no issues despite being a cheap wireless normie mouse. Note that this mouse was purchased directly from Dell, had no deficiencies for the rest of the time that I used it, and the drivers are up to date. I even tried using a different USB 3 port and even trying a USB 2 port to see if that was the issue. No such luck. Another indicator was that everything else worked perfectly fine, even the RGB was still on and to my set profile. I even tried reattaching the magnetic side pieces which was completely in vain. This is most likely a hardware issue and may not be fixable, but I would like to confirm if that is the case for I don't have a random 100 dollars burning a hole in my pocket. I have no warranty and no other way to get a discounted price or something along those lines. Failing a fix for my current mouse, it would be nice if you guys recommended some affordable mice that have worked well for you. Thanks, Me
  4. I mean, I have Alienware Control and command center and AlienFX, those are all
  5. I have found out that if I press FN and my supposedly broken key, its works. No other key does this so did I press some obscure hotkey?? How can I revert this? The key is 'o' by the way.
  6. The 'o' key on my keyboard is broken, and as you might imagine, having a single letter on your clipboard at all times is quite the nuisance. I want to open the keyboard so I could diagnose the issue but there seems to be no screws anywhere to be found. Here is the keyboard for if anyone else owns this or knows how to open it safely, please tell me! I don't want an Apple situation of "break one thing, buy the entire product again". https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/accessories/apd/580-agjp
