    Geezers game too

Sitting at home with nothing to do, I've been tinkering with my rig. It's now almost complete, and worth showing off. Still waiting for the GPU mount, an adapter to put a Noctua on the GPU AIO, and some adapters to disappear the few cables that are visible now. (Yeah, lousy camera. Finished build pics will be taken with a better one) System CPU: i9-9900k Motherboard: MSI MPG Gaming Edge AC RAM: 2 x 16GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200Mhz/CL14 GPU: MSI RTX 2080 Super Sea Hawk X Case: Fractal Design Meshify C TG LT Storage: 500GB WD Black M.2 NVMe, 1TB Team Group 2.5" SSD, 480GB AData 2.5" SSD, 1 TB WD My Passport External, 5 TB WD My Passport External PSU: EVGA 750GQ Displays: MSI Optix G27C2, LG 24M38D Cooling: Deep Cool Castle 360EX, 3 x Noctua NF-F12, 4 x Noctua NF-A12-15 Keyboard: MSI Vigor GK60 Mouse: Lexma G60 Controller : MSI Force GC30 Sound: Logitech Z906 THX 1000W Surround Sound
  2. In stock when I ordered. Still "in stock online" https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_108&item_id=139438 ...and I ALREADY STATED I PAID FOR FEDEX OVERNIGHT
  3. I purchased one item online from CanadaComputers (an RGB power converter) a week ago and I paid extra for overnight shipping. Since then: Nothing! They refuse to answer their "customer service" number (all calls are met with a recording that their call volume is too high to take your call, no matter what day or time I call, and that I should leave a message, which I can not because it's always forwarded to a busy signal) They refuse to answer their "live chat" (multiple attempts, each left open for more than two hours) Inquiries via their "customer service contact form" have been ignored. Calls to every single BC store have gone unanswered. Have I been ripped off?
  4. Are they a reputable company that stand behind their product, or some noname hocking their wares on a marketplace <Redacted>

    Noctua...

Noctua... the Buckley's Mixture of case fans
  6. I already have one installed and I can clearly see that the second one would line up perfectly
  7. Maybe, but it's a CoolerMaster part. Not some cheap Chinese crap.
  8. CMA-CEMB01XXBK1-GL Can I double one of these up so that the port is pointing straight back through the cable management holes on my Meshify C? (I have the one with the capacitor already)
  9. I just installed a Deep Cool Castle 360 EX on my MSI MPG Gaming Edge AC board and it appears I have a bad JRAINBOW connector. Is the "VDG" connector compatible with the "JCORSAIR1" port? (plugs look different even though the diagrams are right) Or, is the connector coming off the pump compatible if I plug it in directly to the JCORSAIR header? (plugs look the same, but are they lined up properly?) I see there's an RGB converter from Deep Cool that I can get cheap enough, but if I don't have to, I'd rather not.
  10. The should really just rename themselves ÜPS (pronounced oops)
  11. It is if 70 is the magic number to trigger max speed, like mine was
  12. Prove that replacing the stock thermal paste in an AIO or a GPU is ALWAYS a good idea Build a handful of systems with stock AIOs and GPUs (include some hot cards, like a Ventus) and stress them Then swap all their thermal contacts to Kryonaut or Arctic Silver and stress them again
  13. Not true. My 2070 Ventus temps went from 72 under load to 64 JUST by changing to Arctic Silver
  14. Try changing the thermal paste on the AIO and the GPU to Arctic Silver or Kryonaut. You may have bad stock paste, or just bad contact
