  1. Go to school > Come home and waste time (Playing games/Watching netflix) > Sleep > Repeat yes, my life has literally no meaning. Though I should probably start doing something productive.
  2. its all preference. Hell, some people enjoy membrane keyboards for gaming.
  3. it's when an ad pops up and when you click on one. Not necessarily bad but most of those ads are literally full of scams and viruses. I usually find them when I'm watching from a free movie/tv site. Super annoying.
  4. like you said, you just want to stream casual games so at the end of the day input lag should not be a great issues so that's fine. It's probably lagging like that because you don't actually have a video card for streaming/recording. The streaming is used via NVidia shield streaming technology? I don't actually know anything about streaming or recording while using another computer, but I do know that streaming/recording some games sometimes adds input lag. It's different on every computer and software, perhaps if you tweak some of the settings to see if that fixes it ? Turning on Vsync may or may not help while streaming/recording.
  5. It really depends on the game for instance, Overwatch It doesn't matter what resolution you play on, you wouldn't able to "see" more. But in the games like League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive you will actually be at an advantage.
  6. If you use a the GTX card and Rx card, the game could be confused on which card to use. One option could be to upgrade the CPU and possibly overclock it? You should try it anyway.
  7. Check the temps while the computer idles and also under load, also check for the fan speed if that's possible. If everything is fine, you don't need to change the fans unless noise is a problem for you.
  8. Yeah lmao... Steam DL's are only like 17-18 MB/s While these other launchers are way faster at 20-25 MB/s Maybe its just a placebo some of the games also are playable after a certain percentage, I dont think steam has that unless there's a launcher within the steam game.
  9. Agreed. It's annoying to have literally 6 Launchers for 6 games. Where you have to add friends and then have trouble adding them or inviting them to games. However, I feel like these other launchers download games better than Steam does.
  10. not including a PSU isn't really an option unfortunately, but I suppose you could just stick with default PSU that they provide then switch it out. And yes, they did cut the cost the 1060 is a 3gb variant, but it originally had the r5 2600, but it was like $5 dollars more to get the 2600x so I got it lol It's a business at the end of the day, their support is really good though, through emails anyway. They respond within 24 hours which is pretty nice and they're also super helpful. Lots of people had negative opinions on it though.
  11. It’s unlikely that they would, IF they did it would probably be some cheaper model. cyberpower and their parent companies is all about making the most amount of money possible. I also REALLY don’t want to send the whole pc back for service. I think If the pc is still fucked I’m just going to take it to a shop.
  12. Oof. I heard the PSU that cyberpower supplies causes power surges and it was awful, I heard some computers even fried because of it, they just suggested getting an EVGA one. I honestly had no idea about parts at the time. Just bought a evga supernova p2 650w. Hopefully I just had another shitty psu.
  13. Yeah, It would probably be cheaper to bring it to a shop or something.
  14. are you looking for the serial number and such? Im not home right now, but I do have this
  15. So, I got bought this computer prebuilt from Cyberpower PC ( Don't laugh ) because I really didn't feel competent enough to build one myself this December, anyway about a week in or so the computer just randomly shuts down, like powers off. It was not overheating or anything, I checked. So I decided to contact Cyberpower PC support and I removed the power supply and sent it back to them and they gave me a new one. About 2 days later it shuts off completely again while playing gta 5, so I turned off the power supply and turned it back on. It will just shut off randomly even when it's idled. Did I just get unlucky with another faulty PSU? Should I buy a completely new PSU off Newegg or Amazon? (Also they mentioned if the PSU breaks any other component on the computer, the warranty would be void so that's a yikes.) Or should I just go to a PC repair shop or send it back to them which would be pretty expensive and not worth it IMO. The PSU is an EVGA 600w (No idea what exact model since I modified the order through email, so It didn't update the part list on the site.)
  16. you should get faster ram with that Ryzen it's not totally important, but you will yield more performance than that 2400Mhz Ram
  17. honestly, most cooling solutions have been tried before on youtube. Most failed, or literally makes no difference whatsoever, You could come up with an idea and do it yourself, post your data. It's unlikely you could make something that would be revolutionary unless you are pretty smart to invent something that this.
  18. If you sell your entire rig, you'd be losing more money. You'd probably sell that rig for like 600-700 USD. Which is enough to buy 1. RTX 2060 + Ryzen5/7 or Intel and that's about it, you wont have enough money for the other components. 2. rtx 2060+ well. you wouldn't have any money left for anything, you might as well just upgrade.
  19. I believe he did something similar to that, cutting to the point he stuck a computer into a refrigerator and it didn't work since it wasn't designed to do that.
  20. If that doesn't work then it's probably a bit complicated to do so, try googling it. The function (WINDOWS + P) is called Display switch
  21. Try this : https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-ww/support/how-to/keyboard/macros
  22. You can press WINDOWS + P Assuming you are using Windows10(Im not sure if that's the same keybind for other windows) , switch to Pc display only or whatever monitor you want to use. Wouldn't technically make it go to sleep, but turning it the display off for that monitor. I Use it all the time when im switching from my TV and computer when I want to watch something on my bed or play games.
