  1. Post those ghetto mods to force your low budget machine to work!
  2. first off I'll try to do one bad joke a day, but you know... I have a job and stuff. First joke I asked a friend on whether I would have high odds of finding a 3000 series graphics card for sale or my significant other wanting to have sex with me. My friend replied you better start checking newegg bud...
  3. I know its a longshot, but if you have another M.2 stick, or even access to one, you can check to see if it works. If a know working stick fails its your motherboard. If it recognizes; then its your stick.
  4. The janky website is functioning rather well, but ironically feels janky still. XD as of right now they have shipping for USPS ( my preferred carrier service). I'm pleasantly surprised by this company I will report back on how the packaging is, and whether or not it is still warrantied by AMD
  5. a 3600 is usually cheaper, and I can just overclock it up to equal terms. hence looking for a 3600 to save $30. I also hopefully scored a ryzen 3600 for $202 after tax and shipping. the website was a bit janky, so I'll report if I got hosed XD
  6. I bought a case the fits atx. ironically... its too tall, but that isnt a big deal as I can change placement.
  7. Budget (including currency): $250 us Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 4k gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm trying to figure out what cpu to run in my new gaming rig. I beat the gpu lottery and snagged an rtx 3070, but now I dont want to bottleneck it too hard. I've been trying to get an amd 3600, but cant find stock that isn't overpriced anywhere. I'm debating on going with a newest gen mobo and getting a 2600, so I can upgrade later. Prices should be similar. Thoughts?
  8. I looked into this case, but I don’t think I will be able to get a strong enough power supply... I’m probably gunna go with this dirt cheap one from Rosewill it’s 6.69 inches wide which should work https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811147320?item=N82E16811147320
  9. Thanks to all who commented. I ended up cannibalizing my ex wife dead laptop cable.
  10. I have a air return right behind my desk. My last pc was a flex build, and for this one I want to be stealthy. So it will just look like a tv on a desk, but I can’t find a pc narrow enough that isn’t a GAMER RIG flex. The goal is to set the pc on the air return shelf which is 6.5 inches wide. Help?
  11. I recently purchased a Laptop from CyberPower because it was impossible for me to find anything better spec for dollar. The problem is the the power brick arrived with a Euro plug. The power brick isn’t even rated for a voltage input of that high. I could just buy a direct plugin converter, but technically that creates the potential for more open faults in the system. Was wondering if the cords from outlet to power brick are standardized. If not will just buy pin to pin plug in “converter.” Rant over
  12. I feel bad. I plan on staying for multiple days, but I have convinced a couple coworkers to go with me. This leaves me no more room. I hope to see you there though, and drive safe when you do make the trip.
  13. Will Either buy an Gaming laptop by then or bring this
