  1. Well if this is the case it kinda sucks. I upgraded my pc from my older one having a gtx 1060 and ryzen 7 1700 so i was imagining my new one to perform super well on mostly every game with max settings. Sorry if I haven’t been replying to the post in a while.
  2. I ran Speed way and Time spy and got these results. And yeah thats great that it didn't under perform. But still when playing games It just doesn't feel like I am playing with a 4070 TI. for exampel when playing microsoft flight sim I got terrible performance. right around 40-60fps and I should get well above 120+. I don't play flight sim I just wanted to test it out but it bugs me to know that It doesn't perform as it should so something much me holding it back.
  3. I have tried flight simulator and I got 30-50 fps because my GPU wasn't running on 90-100% I saw that the fps increased alot when the GPU spiked from 30-50% to 70-80%. I have tried gta 5 fiveM and got 90-110fps on high/ultra settings. Whenever I see other people doing benchmarks with the same specs on youtube their GPU is always on 90% usage.
  4. Hello, I just built a new PC and when I run games the GPU isn't on 100% usage. Depending on the game it's around 30 to 60-70%. In beamng-drive the average is 50-60% which is around 100-120fps. And sometimes the GPU usages goes up to 80-90% and then I get 170-200fps and then it drops again to 60%. most of my games run good when the GPU is on 50-60% but of course I want the performance I paid for. Any guess what it can be? I guess it is some sort of setting since I sometimes get 100% and then It drops. I play on 1080p 240hz and all games are on high to ultra settings. Specs: RTX 4070 TI Ryzen 5 7600x 850W PSU RAM 32GB 4800MHZ M.2 SSD WD BLACK ETC ETC
  5. Yeah, I still don't see the problem, I hope it is just a setting for the GPU or something but shouldn't it run on 100% when it needs to without needing to apply any changes to the settings. Settings (nvidia control panel, video settings in game etc etc). Feels like that shouldn't be something you need to apply to get the GPU to 100% when it needs to.
  6. 1080p I tested with DLAA, FXAA and DLSS but DLSS didn't make any change. It looks like the CPU is working at around 40-70% but the GPU is still not on 100% usage. Since all my other games run good with 100+ fps. Even my old computer with ryzen 7 1700 and gtx 1060 6gb ran the game better than this on low-medium settings. It's not like I play the game a lot but it really bugs me that I such a powerful GPU and in some games that power just doesn't show up performance wise.
  7. No my GPU is around 30-50% and I don't need a better card. the 4070 ti should run flight sim 1080p on more than 100 fps on ultra settings
  8. Hi again, I was just trying out Microsoft flight sim and I did not expect this low of performance. I get around 40-60 fps using high settings and it seems that my gpu on 100%. Seems like some sort of setting holding it back. I have played the new warzone and I was getting 140-160 fps on high settings so it must be some sort of setting I guess. I have set the GPU to be used in nvidia control panel and that the GPU should use max performance. Any of you guys know what it could be?
  9. And Since I don't yet have a fan hub I can only control my fans from bios and I run all my fans on 75% making everything cooler but also making everything louder. But with noise cancelling headphones that is no problem. And the water pump I run 80-100% all the time.
  10. Yeah I have seen some performance decreases and increases while fiddeling with the settings in games. Using window mode for exampel decreased my fps by 20-30fps.
  11. Damn It feels alot better now. I was a bit confused by it saying that it did bottleneck my gpu. But what do you guys think about buying a 1440p monitor? since many people said that the 4070 ti is best for 1440p because gaming in 1080p will put more work on the cpu instead of the gpu. I don't know if that is true or how it works. But I am still confused about how a gpu can perform better and give more fps with a higher resolution. I haven't heard about that before. I just assumed that if you have a good gpu with low res it will give out more fps compared to a good gpu with high res.
  12. Hello, I just recently built a new pc. And I was a bit worried if my cpu is bottleneckning my gpu. Since I just assumed that the ryzen 5 7600x would work good with the 4070ti since both are relatively new and fast gaming components. Currently I play on 1080p but might buy a 1440p monitor since I understand that the 4070ti is better running on 1440p games. RTX 4070 TI RYZEN 5 7600X 32GB RAM 4800MHZ M.2 WD BLACK SSD AM5 MOTHERBOARD What are your thoughts? on https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/ it said that the cpu is bottlenecking my gpu with 20-30% which o course is worrying.
  13. @Aereldor So you thought I needed the computer for school stuff and gaming? I mean yeah kinda confusing in the start but i think its pretty clear that it was for school. But still how does that make a difference. I said what i was gonna use it for. So for the most part all the other stuff exept gaming like i dont need the pc for gaming but i would we fun to game when we have lunch or whatever.
  14. @Aereldor Just one question, with what Im going to be working on I really thought I needed a powerful CPU. But why does the GPU play a bigger part in programing, networking, digital communication etc etc. I know GPUs are not just meant for gaming and can be used for other things but just sounds weird what i need a better GPU than a CPU. All my friends think Im stupid because I said that you need a powerful GPU to do the things we are going to be doing. They went for a better CPU and fast ram. And with integrated graphics.
  15. Okay yeah. Well I will talk to my teacher about the list and see what he thinks about it:)
