  1. No its not a pcie, the pcie really doesnt fit, they made different layouts for the connectors its a atx 12V
  2. Yeah im pretty sure its not a pcie cable, i guess it wouldn't have worked if it was one.
  3. yes it does just work in one direction. And it did work fine the first day i used it.
  4. My Pc did crash all the time and i figured out it was because of the 6+ year old PSU. So i bought a new 600W Thermaltake Smart RGB one (the old one was 450W) After 4h of heavy testing, everything went fine without any Problem whatsoever, but the next day it just wouldn't boot on properly. The Monitor showed no input signal but the machine was running, and after a reboot the motherboard just started beeping like crazy, but all fans of cpu, gpu and psu are running ( watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hvtt9DyBzSU&feature=youtu.be ). Its an AMT Bios and the code for continius beeping is a failure with the cpu, and my hypothesis has to do with the 4 Pin Power "opening" for the cpu, i put in the half of an 8pin Plug (look at the picture for reference). could that be the error? And if so how could i fix it? or have you guys any suggestions whats the problem? Thanks Specs: B75mu3b Motherboard i5 3550 Cpu 1060 6gb evga sc Smart RGB 600W PSU
  5. what about booting up with a different processor, all the drivers and stuff, do i need to consider something in this departement?
  6. i know, i would replace the whole motherboard not just the cpu. what does that mean for me if it had another chipset?
  7. The Motherboard of my Dell e7250 with the i7 processor died, and i dont have warranty on it anymore. luckily, every part in this laptop is replaceable, so you can cange even the motherboard. The bad thing is that the motherboard with the same processor as on mine (i7 5600u) costs over 300€ in my country, so i thought it might be possible to use another mainboard. This would be the motherboard from the dell e7250 but with an Intel i5-5300U cpu on it. If i put the other mainboard into the laptop, would that work? Greetings, Rainer.
