I only have a third that amount and I already have trouble just using one in a day.
EDIT: and I have two more in the post, one of which is a Model M. Cannot wait for that to get here.
The shine 3 is a pefectly good board if you need it now, but if you can wait, and actually like the huge knobs on the shine 4, then go for it. Personally I hate the knobs and won't get another Ducky until they get rid of them.
I think I've made my decision, going with the M50. The sub $200 price also leaves me a bit of headroom for shipping from PCCG as well, which is usually a little expensive and I didn't think of when I started the thread.
Can they be sufficiently run off of my motherboard without another amplification in between?
EDIT: looking at the 80ohm version of them.
EDIT2: nevermind about the DT770, They do require external amplification. Thoughts on the Shure SRH840, keeping in mind I want as close to complete isolation as possible?
Looking for headphones, not a headset. No mic, please.
I have an msi 990FXA-GD80v2
EDIT, the 598's have also been discounted, since they're open. I don't care how good a pair of headphones sound, if they're open I'm not buying them.
My budget is around $200-$250 Australian Dollars. They will be NOT be amplified by any external source, just connected to my motherboard/front panel. No brand preferences. Preferably a set that's available through PCCaseGear please.
EDIT: as well as being closed, I need them to not leak any sound in. Like at all. I want to be completely shut off from the world when I have these things on.
I have never broken the Micro usb end of a Micro USB to full size USB cable. I have, however, repeatedly bent the full size connector on many micro USB cables.
