I've just read through this thread and Jesus I don't know what 99% of these drinks are, we seem to be a lot simpler here in the UK, I like quite a few drinks, Courage Best, London Pride, Hoppit, Strongbow, Hop House 13, Brew Dog Punk IPA, Staropramen, we seem to have a lot of almost the same, there's only ever very subtle differences in a lot of drinks, if you like one, likely hood is you'll mostly enjoy the rest, but drinking in the UK seems to be a more popular thing than what I've seen in the US etc, if you've got nothing to do at home etc, pop to the pub and have a few pints and a game of pool, afternoon sorted then.

I recently got the Slave-1 set and it was amazing to build, took me a good few hours but my is it beautiful set! I'll try to remember to give it some repairs after my dog knocked it off a table and broke part of it off, haven't much time to fix it lately and post some pics!

I've recently handed in my notice at my place of work and I'm coming up to the final day (This Friday woop woop), I have experienced now awkwardness, no coldness, not even people being annoyed with me for it, same with my previous job, so I personally don't understand where the issue lies, for them to fire you for handing in your notice is ridiculous, I've heard some fucked things from jobs but never that, in fact in my last job I even pulled my manager aside a month before I handed my notice in saying I might be leaving and he was like cool just let us know when possible, I don't think you should have anything to worry about at all, especially if you get on with everyone, if anything they'll just be gutted to see you go and enjoy their last few weeks working with you, what I've had from a few people this week, so I'd say just hand it in when you're ready really, same applies to anyone as I know I'm a bit late to this thread aha

I've used a lot of music streaming services, whether it be because I get a free trial or it was recommended by a friend etc, but I always come back to Spotify, its one of the few services in general I'm happy to spend the money on as they do work with the user I find, making playlists of stuff similar to what you've been listening to and even breaking up the genres but also not forcing this stuff down your throat, they keep on top of both their mobile and PC apps which seems to be a rarity these days as the smartphone rapidly takes over the world, and its just easy to use and if you do some digging in the options, actually has quite a lot you can fiddle with and change which personally I love, the fact I've met a lot of Apple product junkies who prefer to have Spotify installed one their phone then Apple Music says a lot to me as well.

As much as I want an English team to win it, I don't like the teams that are left in it really so going with a club I support in Barcelona, I'd love to see Ajax win after I predicted them knock out Madrid, only for them to go and do it, but got a feeling we might be watching a Barcelona Juventus final.

What smart watch does Linus use? I'm sure he made a video about it but can't remember what one and I know he said it was meant to be really good, or does anyone know of any good smart watches for around £100?

Again I get if the discussion has nothing related but I still see some, discussing the topic that then gets locked for being better suited as a status update when the topic is clearly discussion worthy as people are talking on the topic, this is something I see more in off topic when someone will post something random but still able to be talked about, it is talked about, then locked, this is what confuses me, when its staying on track, being discussed sensibly with the occasional random comment here or there where someone points out a particular sentence etc but otherwise is seemingly just a decent conversation about the topic in question, this is more where my confusion lies.

This just makes me realise how bad my maths is...

if you're running windows 10, go to volume control on your taskbar, click on the monitor name that should be above the volume controller, should come up with a list and you should find your headset there, I have to do that, also be aware that certain games once you load it up through one audio device, won't switch back so if you want to go from monitor to headset you'll have to restart the game, I know GTA V does this, not sure of many others. PS this is with your headset plugged into your PC, wanted to clarify this in case you tried it with the monitor and came back saying it wasn't in the list.

I understand it when someone just posts a picture and captions "lol funny" like no that isn't gonna be the pinnacle of conversation, but I keep seeing threads that were in full discussion on a subject and then suddenly stop because a mod believes its better suited as a status update, those are the ones that confuse me, when something is being discussed but is better suited as a status update?

So I haven't been on the forum long but one thing I've picked up on is that there's quite a few posts, in Off Topic in particular that have been locked and the OP has been told its better suited as a status update when people have been having a perfectly fine conversation on the subject posted, just wondering if there are further rules I'm still un-aware of as a kind of FYI for future posts?

if you manage your money then it doesn't matter, I pay for my tobacco and thing for rollies and I still manage to have an RTX 2070 brand new as well as being close to upgrading my MOBO and CPU fairly soon when new Ryzens launches

I got a very nice watch for my 18th last year, I ended up looking it up because it was so nice and its worth around £100, not something I'd spend on a watch if i was buying my own, then bought my dad a watch for Xmas worth £50 forgetting he already has watches and he doesn't wear them so I've got 2 nice watches already but if I ever want a cheapy one I know where to look.

Not bad for under £10 actually.

If you like the one you have currently you can always just buy a new strap? IMO as long as it tells the time and fits well no need for something fancy but that might be my simplistic cheapskate kicking in, and I'm sure there's plenty of tutorials on YouTube to show you how to do it.

love Vet Ranch, I find it so frustrating they can't show the footage because you can't actually see what they're doing and that sort of stuff really interests me (I'm not into veterinary or medical stuff myself, just find the whole process of how the body works interesting)

I think one thing that keeps being touched on but truly acknowledged is that LTT is a business, it HAS to make money, yes the clickbait titles are frustrating, but imo (and it might not be anyone else's), if you like the guys then you'll watch it regardless, the video's can still be informative, maybe not quite as much as a couple years back but there is still something there, it's still good content, the reason these other channels don't have to is because they only have to support themselves, not many others (okay they might have an editor or cameraman but you get my point), for LTT to make money it has to get clicks, and I don't think you can really blame them for doing it as this is the current state of YouTube, you need these clickbaity titles to get people watching, its not a case of how good your content is anymore, its how good your title and thumbnail is (generally speaking), that's why if I know I enjoy the content I will still watch the video, we're in a very frustrating time period on the platform and I think we just have to ride it out, when the medium changed, LTT will change too,its the reason they are as big and successful as they are.

If memory serves me correct that's the only place I can see the HDD however it wont let me do anything with it (I would check now but I'm at work).

Windows doesn't see them, sorry should of clarified that aha.

So recently I've massively upgraded my storage on my PC, I have a 2TB HDD and 500GB Samsung 650 EVO SSD, which would be great if my PC would actually recognise they are installed and plugged in, well I can find the HDD with some digging however it wont let me use it to actually store anything and it isn't showing the SSD anywhere I look, does anyone know why this might be or how to make them magically appear? P.S yes I have made sure everything is plugged in properly and would like to think I have plenty enough power to boot them up.
