Yeah, it was defo board related. I have the GPUs and power supply in a different machine and they're humming away without a problem... Only downside is I'm stuck with a Core2 Duo E6850 and 4GB DDR2 for 6 weeks!! At least I can still play my less CPU intensive titles in 1440p though!! That would bug me to hell and back if I was stuck without Goat Simulator XDD

Hey, I do hope the issue was finally identified. Troubleshooting and identifying a motherboard as the cause of the issue is a hard and irritating thing so I do hope replacing it fixes everything. Post back if you have any development!

I'm sorry that it's your mother board and that you have to get a new one, it could be worse the PSU could fail and kill the other components

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are going through. 
So, just to make sure we are on the same page, your system shuts down ONLY when you are streaming your gameplay? Does it simply restart or it shuts down as if you pulled the plug? Do you have any error messages? Does it start back up on its own or do you have to manually start it? 
 
Just to be on the safe side, I'd run diagnostic tests on the storage drives so you know your data is safe and you can safely exclude them as potential causes of the situation. I'd get tools from the manufacturers and see if the drives pass all the tests. For the WD drives that would be WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic. 
 
Have you monitored the load on your parts while streaming? Maybe something is hitting 100% usage and causes the issue? 
 
If I'm not mistaken your computer should be consuming around 660W under load. Do you have a custom CPU cooler or any other parts connected to your computer? This wattage is rather close to the maximum supported by your PSU so during higher loads your system may be getting its power cut due to overloading the PSU. If you have one with more wattage I'd try that just to verify the results and completely exclude the PSU as the potential cause of the issue. 
 
Checking if all cables are plugged all the way and reseating all your parts on the motherboard may be a good idea. 
 
Checking the system log and Event Viewer may give you some info on the reason behind the shutdowns.

Just to be sure that it was my GPU, i reinstalled Windows to the SSD again with my friend's 750 Ti, then put my 290 in and tried to install the drivers. Now I know the screen is supposed to go black a few times during display driver installations, but I've been stuck at a black screen for about 10 minutes now. From my experience installing display drivers this has never happened so as far as I know this is another error that I can attribute to the GPU since it once again is the only thing to change during the test.

I've used "Partition Wizard Free" (from Cnet originally) http://download.cnet.com/MiniTool-Partition-Wizard-Free-Edition/3000-2094_4-10962200.html
It works wonders, aligns SSD's correctly, copies the Bootloader and does a 1:1 copy.
Easy to use.
Install/Run
Select C:\
Hit the COPY button.
Select Target Drive
 
Re-set up the partitions or let the program do it for you...
It Reboots for the Copy Process before Windows will load........so it can copy the Windows files that are normally IN USE by having Windows loaded and running.
When done, tell bios to boot from device that was the Target Drive.
Boot into that new Windows, delete the old one ( D:\ format)

I've had this really wild idea... I decided we need a skin for the ladies and gents of the LTT community that play Osu! (for those who don't... it's a fun, free rhythm game with NO ADS ON THE GAME AND NO MICROTRANSACTIONS (holy mother of GabeN!))... and so... I'm making a revision of my skin called the "LTT Edition"... the image below is an extremely early preview... the final version will be available via a puush link on my Osu! profile... If someone here plays Osu! and wants to help me make these elements then go ahead! my photoshop skills are limited...

as for what I have planned... there's gonna be a Linus-don (like pippi-don, but Linus) for taiko and I'm not too sure for mania.. I'll get back on that...

Hi, I have 3 WDC drives in a Raid 5 setup. I initially had these drives in various computer before I used them in Raid. I would like to add a 4th drive because I'm running out of space. Should I buy another Black drive or get a true NAS Red drive. Would adding a red drive slow down the black drives? I hope this makes sense. ☺ Thanks.

Wish I could say it was... I used a brand new bridge... gonna try rolling the drivers back and a different model of bridge... according to a couple of modders, the bridge can also sometimes have an effect... although I think that's an NVidia thing and not really an issuse on the AMD side since AMD's limitations for Crossfire are so lenient!

I know it would be cool if it did... kinda hinting that it should have long since existed by now :3

GCN 1.3 doesn't exist as of now.
 
Wait? Windows 10? Yeah, no. That explains it. MSX is unstable as fuck at the moment. Driver 15.7.1 is as close as you can get it to being stable with CF
