Jotoco got a reaction from Trik'Stari in Apple Terminates Epic's App Store Account
Free, mostly open source OS with multiple vendor options is Monopoly!
Only one option of OS and hardware is freedom!
Man, Orwell was really a seer

Jotoco got a reaction from StDragon in FOXCONN moving fabs?
Americans are just so self centered.
Moving out of China is survival tactics. Japan, Australia, Korea and many other countries are trying to lessen their dependency on Chinese manufacturing.
If anyone thinks it is only because of Orange Man Bad, then you're not paying attention to the world post covid

Jotoco got a reaction from mr moose in Apple threatens to kill Unreal Engine on iOS, Fornite may never return
Well, either way you prove that, opposite to Apple, you can use the hardware.
You can watch a BD movie that was not bought through PS store. Netflix doesn't pay 30% of their subscription to Sony.
Either way you slice it apple is monopolistic and the others are not.

Harder.
Phones are general computacional devices with many purposes.
Videogames are videogames.

It is not like Apple goes out of their way to make it as impossible as they can to do anything they don't like.
Apple is not just a walled garden. The walls are 200ft tall, electrified, with spikes, guard dogs, a moat and laser turrets.

Jotoco reacted to Samfisher in R.I.P Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL
Meh, Pixels are sold in such limited markets that they basically don't exist outside of the US and UK.

Not a single Ryzen 4000 model has launched in Brazil yet. Not any of the CPU models.
AMD is very, very short in supply for these cpus.
They will probably be back ordered through Christmas and possibly into Ryzen 5000 launch.

Jotoco got a reaction from Spindel in More heatpipes than a Macbook Air - Lenovo Legion phone annouced
It seems the recommendation for a normal 10lb cat is 261kcal power day, that equals about 300W power day or 12.6W per hour. If cats consume less when sleeping it is fair to assume somewhere in the neighborhood of 15W to 18W.
So about on par with the MacBook air, really. And choose to the assumption of the other guy.
PS: I know this is not a direct conversion, and not all energy is transformed into heat. This is tongue in cheek and for fun only. Not scientific.

About 17W IIRC - at least that's how much my system has to draw for the cat to decide it's not comfortable anymore

Jotoco reacted to LAwLz in India bans 59 Chinese mobile apps including Tik Tok.
I find it weird that people are going "China bad" and then cheering on the exact same censor- and dictatorship tactics they condone China for, only difference being the country doing it.
Shouldn't government controlling access to programs and social media be frowned upon no matter which country does it?

Jotoco got a reaction from Fnige in Apple will announce move to ARM-based Macs later this month, says report
Tell that to the Apple engineer who put the 48V back light connector right beside I've that goes straight to the CPU for 4 generations already.
Just ask Louis rossman
