  1. I am pretty new when it comes to building a pc. I know you shouldn't build on carpet, but I was wondering if it would be okay to build on my bathroom counter top?
  2. So your card is pretty much stock? I hear that it is significantly overvolted out of the box, but it is helpful to see that it works well for you. It’s a bit discouraging when I see people saying it has crazy power draw without actually showing examples, so thank you
  3. Cool. Doesn’t look like it goes as high as some people are saying
  4. Really? Good to know. Did you undervolt your card at all?
  5. That’s interesting. Corsair RMx PSUs have a fairly high certification though, don’t they? I also want to be safe since I’ve seen people saying that 550 is even enough and others saying you need 850+
  6. I found a reference Sapphire Vega 64 for less than any 56s I’ve seen, and it seems to good to pass up. My only concern is the power consumption, and I wanted to know if the Corsair RM750x PSU would be enough. It’s the only 750 watt I’ve seen for less than $100 that’s in tier a of the PSU Tier List 3.
  7. Do you think Evga 650 B3 would be good?
  8. I do not have a free sync or g sync monitor at the moment and I don’t care much about game deals. From what I have seen the 1070ti is faster in most current games where as the Vega will be better in future games. What do you recommend?
  9. I have used this psu for about a year and a half with no problems, but that was with an rx480. Do think I should get a 1070ti for the same price as the Vega instead?
  10. Sounds good. Should I worry about using this one for a few months though?
  11. If that seems right, then why do people recommend a 750w for this card?
  12. Hopefully my future build:

    CPU - AMD - Ryzen 5 2600

GPU MSI - Radeon RX VEGA 56 8 GB Air Boost 8G OC

    MOBO - MSI - B450M BAZOOKA
    RAM - HyperX Fury Black 8 GB (4 x 4 GB) DDR4-2133

    SSD - 860 Evo 500 GB

HDD - Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1 TB

    PSU - Thermaltake Smart 600w (80+ White)

CASE - Cooler Master - MasterBox 5 (Black) ATX Mid Tower

  13. Pcpartpicker says it would be around 315w, but that seems off
  14. I currently have a Thermaltake Smart 600W (80+ White) and I am really pushing it budget-wise already to get a vega 56. Will this psu be able to support it, or will I need to go for something higher. I don't really plan on OCing and maybe undervolting and limiting the power draw could help?
