  1. Razer laptops are good for that price. https://www.razer.com/gaming-laptops/razer-blade/shop#rtx2060--fhd-144hz-9thgen--512gb-25slot-quartz
  2. It depends on your use case. If you need battery life, this will probably not be any good. But plugged in, you can game on it easy, so that's worth it. Lenovo makes good laptops for that sort of thing. On the go, you'll need to do low powered tasks to conserve battery with all this hardware inside. Again, really just depends on your use case. Hope this helps a bit!
  3. Agreed. There are similar laptops for a similar price, but at 15.6". I would only recommend 15.6 at most, especially for mobile use.
  4. So, my friend is planning on buying the Hades Canyon Nuc from intel, and we can't seem to find a nice monitor that is only 1080p at 60hz (because that is all he needs). I'm asking if anyone here knows of a good (and cheap) 1080p 60hz monitor so he can up his game for a little less than $200. Any suggestions?
  5. Very solid build. Are the specs in your signature the ones in the machine?

  7. I don't like HP better, they just have a much simpler pricing system than anyone else. I will get back to you with a few dell laptops as well. https://store.hp.com/us/en/ConfigureView?langId=-1&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&catEntryId=3074457345618890323&urlLangId=&quantity=1&jumpid=ma_omen-gaming_product-tile_laptops_11_4fb29av-1_omen-laptop---15t https://store.hp.com/us/en/ConfigureView?langId=-1&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&catEntryId=3074457345618810319&urlLangId=&quantity=1&jumpid=ma_omen-gaming_product-tile_laptops_5_3aw55av-1_omen-laptop---17t-ga
  8. ^Yes^ I would go with something razer just because of their reliability. Also they have D-Brand for sure.
  9. What are you using it for? I can make a better recommendation if I know that. I've been researching a lot of laptops recently, so I know prices and stuff.
  10. What exactly are you using this laptop for? Also, from what I see ram is upgradable, storage is upgradable if you get nothing in the PCIe M.2 slot. If what they are saying is right and it can turbo up to 4.6GHz on an i7-8565U, it's probably a good thermal dissipator. It may not sustain that, but it looks pretty solid. Like Mr. @NelizMastr said, REVIEWS! They are your best friend in looking for a laptop. I'm looking for a new one and I have about 10-20 saved configs to compare and look for reviews on. Good luck, kind sir!
  11. Extremely nice and polished finished build! Something like Linus himself when he would do an all out crazy build!
  12. Yeah, I was thinking about that (via userbenchmark) and I do see your point. I initially thought, "Hm... with all this nice hardware, wouldn't he use a 1060 if the budget allowed?" Then, you look at my specs and I just have no hardware and everyone criticizes me for not knowing because I've never used the hardware, but I actually do have personal experience with a 980ti, my friend has one. Though he knows nothing about PCs and is scared I will break it if I OC it.
  13. I'll just say this; GPU is s***, but hardline watercooling! That's amazing for your bro! I'm never even trying hardline, so this is really cool!
  14. So, I am a small time streamer. I lightly stream on twitch and I have a YouTube podcast. Now, considering that I literally have a 2 core Celeron CPU @1.60GHz in a CHROMEBOOK (the inferior s***show of a machine), you MUST be wondering how I have done this. You probably think it's some sort of Linux mod, but no, no modding needed. A chrome app? No way! It's actually a website called, "Lightstream," a free, online stream encoder that works up to 1080p 60fps. While maybe not on my system, it says I can only go up to 720p 60fps due to CPU limitations. All it really says is that it needs a stable high-speed connection, which probably most of you have anyway. It says only about 7mb/s for 1080p 60fps though, and for slower connections, it can go all the way to 480p 30fps working at 3mb/s. This is a huge win for laptop users (like the one in ROG Rig Reboot 2018) so even they can stream. Granted, it is better for people who don't have high powered games or have OS limitations. I usually play GBA games (that I own) on an emulator, and also Town Of Salem and a few other browser-based multiplayer games. It is ideal for people with crap rigs and who don't want to spend too much cash. I am in no way affiliated with Lightstream, but I feel like this information should be shared with you gamers about this website. Browser based streaming for the win! P.S. You can also add facecams, and even 3rd party softwares like streamlabs, so you can still have lots of cool features of downloaded software!
  15. Aren't we all little kids anyway? Or is that just me?
  16. This is way better than anything I'll ever build.
  17. Well I mean it's better than any PC I'LL ever build.
  18. Go with the 1050ti. It's a considerable performance boost in graphics, and worth it. If you need more storage, m.2 or external hard drive would work well. You shouldn't notice a huge difference in CPU performance compared to GPU.
  19. 1. You're very welcome! 2. Yes, I didn't think of that. Oof. BUT! I don't think it's the GPU at this point, it has seen no problems.
  20. Ok, so not a virus (not entirely ruling that out), what else could it be? At this point, I got NO clue what this could be. I'm out of ideas. Sorry dude, but changing the hardware might be your best bet. Or, contact Zotac customer service. Here's a thing; https://www.zotac.com/us/support#contact It's a Zotac PC, so they should be able to help more than me.
