ive unplugged that and had a look, seems fine

so this week i built a new pc consisting of - Msi 4090 x trio i9 13900k 32gb dominator ddr5 6400 ram z790 aorus elite ax running windows 11. corsair rm1000x psu Now i had the pc working fine playing games no problem all week but today it randomly crashed playing starfield. the screens went black but i could still here my discord, so i restarted my pc and my monitors said no signal. Since then i have to use my onboard graphics and in device manager my gpu doesnt show up. so i re-seated my gpu thinking it may have moved but still nothing, the rgb lights up but the fans dont spin. i am truly lost and would love some help if possible. Thanks.

Tried restarting and still encountering the same issue, diskpart lets me type in only when the usb is unplugged.

when i try to use that, the program doesnt do anything after i type in disk part

Hello, been having an issue where my usb drive is showing in file explorer but when i try to open it file explorer stops responding, trying to use disk management wont load unless i take the usb out so i cant format it. Any help would be great Thanks.

Yeah i have it set at 4.7ghz all cores atm on 1.280 running fine and temps are all good so will try putting the voltage higher and trying again, Cheers

volts went to 1.288 as it was an auto thats the highest i seen it, using a h150i

i was watching my temps in corsair link and it was sitting around 65-70c

Hello all, im trying to overclock my 8700k to around 4.8ghz. I stress testing my cpu using AIDA64 and when i run the test after about 2 minutes it stops the test and says hardware failure. i dont suppose anyone knows much about this to help me? looking to go higher that 4.8ghz.. Hello, I’ve just built my new pc setup with a msi Z390 board and I’ve ran out of usb headers to plug in my h150i pump cable. Does anyone know what I can use to plug it in with since I don’t want lose my front USB ports in my case

Yeah ASUS Z170-A. just trying to overclock atm and i set my core voltage to 1.250 at 4.2ghz and on AIDA64 cpuid it shows my core voltage is on 1.328 somtimes higher to 1.340 to me this seem way too high, any help would be appreciated as im pretty new to overlclocking Edit - motherboard is currently sat at 65c

i previously tried overclocking before to 4.2ghz but found my motherboard gets pretty hot around 60-65c, not sure if this is a problem or not.

Thanks for the replies, i have been thinking about getting the 8700k and then upgrading my graphics card to maybe a 1080ti in a couple months when i get paid lol, i will try overclocking. my cooler is a h115i

Hello, I was wondering what cpu to use with my gtx 1070. I am wanting to run games like Battlefield V on ultra.. atm my cpu runs at 100% and limits my framerate. im looking at upgrading Motherboard, cpu and cpu cooler.
