  3. Hey everyone, so i built a new AMD system and for some reason im not getting a good turbo boost. i did add a aio because i thought that maybe i was running too hot but I'm still not getting full performance. is there anything i might be able to do? build out list is as follows cpu - AMD ryzen 5 3600 Cpu cooler - Corsair h100i rgb platinum 240 mm aio mobo - ASUS ROG B450-f gaming memory - CORSAIR Vengeance 32 gig (4x8gig) DDR4 @3000mHz psu - CORSAIR CX-M series CX600M hdd - 256 gig 2.5 in SATA SSD, 6tb 3.5inch HDD, 2,000GB 3.5 in sshd case - Corsair Carbide Series 300R fans - Corsair x5 Graphics- -Gtx 1070 founders edition RGB strips have been added and are plugged into the RGB headers on mobo its my first true build out and used ryzen master to see if i could tinker with the overclocking settings a bit but I'm not familiar with it so i didnt want to take it too far and just reverted back to stock just to make sure i didn't goof anything up. any pointers would be real nice right now.
  4. https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/ link for crystaldisk mark or at least the site
  5. id hate to say but have you tried a fresh install of windows to see if you got a defective ssd? i know in my line of work defective drives are a thing that makes my life a pain. i had three in one shipment that samsung did rma even though we sometime have them sitting on a shelf for months on end before use in a customer device. id try to install windows (assumeing you are using this for a boot drive) or even try to put some files over to it just to test. chrystaldisk mark will also tell you if its good but can give false positives and negatives. there is another program you can try out as well http://www.roadkil.net/program.php?ProgramID=22 its called raw copy.
  6. i know samsung has their own migration tool that i hear ios really good. have you tried to run that and see what happens? the link is https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools/ note, i pulled this directly from samsung but if you want to get a link on your own you can google samsung ssd migration tool and it should show the link as well.
  7. i still enjoy my three button setup so i dont think ill switch it up. its honestly a matter of personal preference.
