  1. No worries i saw the case in Microcenter with the included covers and it certainly helps How do you feel about the cable management space by the PSU? Might issue with the 275R is that due to the harddrive cage not being moveable its super super tight between the space where the PSU plugs get plugged in, thats really why i want a new case, is to help solve that problem since the Mesh II certainly has enough cable tie down points and all that jazz And it appears to have more space behind the motherboard tray and behind the side-panel (which i wish was a measurement included on case manufacturers spec sheets lol) compared to my 275R
  2. I appricate the info packaged posted, the aircooling i'm not super worried about i already have a bunch of solid bequiet fans in my pc now and the only reason i wasnt interested in the O11 Mini was because it takes only an SFX Power supply and i was just trying to keep the number of additional components needed to a minimum, i only wanted to buy a new case, not a new PSU. Other than that limiting factor the o11 Mini does seem like a viable small but capable case for a lot of builds I feel like i can bounce between either case, sometimes i'll feel convinced on the Mesh II, sometimes the o11 It does seem like the O11 might be going big to a point where its unnecessary for me
  3. Haha yeah even looking at the dimensions it doesn't appear as large when i looked at the crazy Corsair 5000D or whatever (the one you can do 6 fans in the front) and the Asus Helios those make all the caes i have or interested it in tiny af I guess i could be interested in the ECLIPSE P500A DRGB but i havent done as much research into that one as the two lian lis but we'll see
  4. I'm looking to upgrade my pc case and i'm really stuck between the Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL and the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh Currently i have my build in the the Corsair 275R right now. I'm looking to get into a bigger case because i realize know that i probably went too small in 2018 when i built my PC. In terms of why i'm between these two cases A) I want a case with ample cable management and functionality so thermals and such B) I want a white colored case lol The 011 XL is the only 011 that will fit my Noctua NHU12 with the chromax cover i believe and even them i'm skeptical. The measurements check out to be within 5mm of clearance and GPU is a 3080 FE so i'm good size wise there. I'm really just worried about cable management to be honest. I have white sleeved cable extensions which i'm realizing now take up massive amounts of space but when i built my PC i didnt feel confident or understand how to buy custom PSU cables Thoughts one way or the other on these two cases?
  5. That was really neat, i enjoy these videos that are part Maker, part tech. Like a lovely mash-up of Adam Savage Tested and LTT
  6. Honestly the notch, chin, bezel never really mattered much to me. If the phones were identical in features and price i might choose the visually more appealing one but bezel doesnt factor in at all into my purchasing decision. However after reading into it doesnt look like Sprint works with OnePlus, something about Spring/Verizon being CDMA standard, idk thats above my head https://www.tomsguide.com/us/how-to-order-oneplus-7,news-30041.html So perhaps i will not look into something that just doesn't work out of the box on Sprint, that's too bad OP7 seemed pretty solid all around. Maybe i really am between a Samsung and a Pixel, now to just decide if waiting for the Pixel 4 in the fall is worth the wait
  7. Is the fact that the Samsung and OnePlus both Bluetooth 5 mean that connectivity issues might not be a big deal anymore as i walk through NYC? Also i feel if i were to get a new cell phone everything should be an upgrade and the S10E has a 12 megapixels camera and my S6 has a 16 megapixel camera. But your worry over the front pop up camera is certainly legit, and i personally feel that im okay with that risk One of my concerns with the oneplus is a case, ive only ever used Otterbox cases for my phone(s) and i like to drop my phone in a case and then never take it out and Otterbox doesnt have OnePlus cases or at least for the 7 that i can find I feel like i might be between the Pixel and the OnePlus but i go back to wanting the Pixel but knowing there is a new one coming out in what August? I just wish there was a store that carried OnePlus where i am that i could see the phone in person.
  8. When i dont use reddit, twitter, youtube a lot on the train i dont need to charge my phone for the day or 2. But ive always used my cell phone in battery save mode, but you make fair points regardless!
  9. I dislike that it's only 32GB of storage, i download podcasts and sometimes stuff from Plex to watch on my commute so i feel like some extra storage either built in or expand-ability but not necessary, a 100+gb phone storage would be plenty i think for me I really dont know if there is anything else that i dislike about the S6 i mean, i dont really do much with it to be honest, i dont play games on it. I watch youtube/plex, listen to spotify/google music or podcasts. There isn't anything i can't afford to lose on my phone, it's more just a preference, ive only ever had phones with headphone jacks and its just so strange to me that they dont have them anymore. I've had some annoying interactions with bluetooth so maybe i'm just super skeptical of it and would be annoyed if my only option was bluetooth headphones on my phone. I could live with a dongle Nothing specfic in terms of new features, if it doesnt have wireless charging i'm not gonna be heartbroken. Which is why i thought the OnePlus7Pro seemed like a realitivty good deal, pretty great all around device, great camera, good processing on it, not pixel/samsung level but respectable. I also just need to get past the idea that what if i make the wrong choice, like i'll always buy tech and then a month later better model will be out but how would i have known, thats just a mental block for me to get over haha In terms of how long it lasts i usually keep my phones for like 5 years or so. I feel like my S6 has lasted so long because i've only ever used it in Battery Saving Mode but i treat my devices well, since day one my S6 has been in an otterbox and looks brand spanking new when i take it out of there to clean it
  10. I've never sold any phone i have and i just might have all the phones ive ever had in a drawer at home. Razer, Blackjack 2, Galaxy S6. I seem to keep my cell phones for a good 5 years or so so resale value honestly matters little me but i do appreciate the response!
  11. Hey! I think i'm in the market for a new phone, USA (Currently Sprint, not changing anytime soon). And i feel like there are so many choices and sometimes i feel lost. I've watched a number of reviews on the OnePlus 7Pro and it looks like thats a pretty universal winner and its a price that i can well manage. I was wondering what other things i should look out for? I think because my phone is already quite old anything i get is going to be a huge step so it doesn't really matter. I've said in the past i wanted to keep my headphone jack but if there is a dongle i supposed i could use that. My problem with bluetooth is that i walk to work in NYC, like midtown and my current Jabra wireless earbuds always cutout, like i cant put my phone in my back pocket, i literally have to walk with my phone in my hand and thats annoyiing. Which is why i used my wired earbuds when i walk. So do newer phones have better bluetooth? Or is that a headphone issue? The camera isn't a huge point for me because my phone is so old i know its going to be a massive improvement either way so the difference between the Pixel Camera and Samsung Camera isn't to big of a deal to me I'd like to be under $1000, even under $800 would be nice. Is there anything i should be looking more into or reason to avoid OnePlus? Or wait until the Pixel 4? Or something else entirely
  12. Oh yeah i suppose i could do Mavericks but i'm pretty sure this machine can do Mojave but not that big deal to me either way but i'm glad this thread exists in case anybody in future is looking for anything! I do think i'm between 2 new laptops now, either the ASUS Zephyrus GA502 or the Lenovo LEGION Y545 from Costco for the same price, which i think that some better specs save for a larger battery i think but that's not really a driving issue for me.
  13. Hey! Let me first apologize for the picture of screen since i'm typing this on my desktop with my laptop on my desk next to me. To answer your question I just tried to get Mojave from the App store and it says this version cannot be installed on this computer. I also just double checked Apple site for Mojave which says
  14. Hi, Reality New LTT Fan/PC Enthusiast and First Time Commentor! After building my first PC last November going from a 2010 iMac to a Ryzen 2700x system i think its near time i change out my laptop. Which is an Early 2011 13-Inch MacBook Pro, 2.7Ghz Intel Core i7, 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 After watching LTT's review of the ASUS Zephyrus GA502 I was certainly interested. Since building my PC i've gotten into PC Gaming, having only ever played XBOX and mostly shooters, Battlefield franchise mostly with some COD here and there and other little things but nothing has taken up more time than BF. Any who, i'm looking for a machine that i can do some photoshop work on and some light gaming. What i've been playing recently has been WWE 2K19, PC Build Sim, American/Euro Truck Sim, Train Sim World, Cities Skylines, Civ, Planet Coast, CSGO, Mordhau and Heroes of the Storm. I'd really like to get a bit more into HOS, LOL type games, i really miss playing with people. Since going to uni and working now i havent really had a "clan" or group of people to play games with since back in middle/high school w hen it was the original xbox Battlefield Modern Combat But i don't really need something that is a full blown thick as heck gaming laptop but i also don't need a super color accurate graphic design machine. Kinda budget, $1,000 or so, an internet, light gaming and Adobe machine for if i want to travel with it. My MacBook was something i could do it all with, internet, creative work and i even played the first pc game i got Mark of the Ninja on it in like 2012. But now the Macbook is so outdated i can't upgrade past OSX Yosemite so thats where i'm at. Would the ASUS Zephyrus GA502 be a solid choice or am i forgetting any other machines? Lemme know if there is anything i can answer if you have some recs in mind, i tried to be as detailed and explain what i do as best i could Also in the U.S Thanks!
  15. I like the Google Keyboard over Swiftboard and i've used both but switch from Swift back to GBoard, and to be honest i forgot why it's been so long. And i use the NovaLauncher, pretty nice interface and easy to understand where stuff is but like many things is always helpful to check out videos, im sure there are plenty of "lets take a look at X launcher" to give you an overview before spending a couple bucks on one
