How is this even possible? Because this game would actually be playable at 130fps where at 60, it's just horrid. And 60 was suppose to be some sort of holy grail "bottom" line for smoothness. It's just not as it feels janky and laggy.

I think that's the frame pacing, there are enough frames that it averages out to 60fps, but they come at inconsistent times making it feel bad

Are you sure that you are looking at the correct one? There are so many different Gigabyte AX370-Gaming boards. Rev 1.0, Rev 1.x,  Gaming 3, gaming 5, Gaming K3.

Boy do I know. It's a rev 1.X IIRC, but I can't find any difinitive evidence of that. Def. not a Gaming 3, 5, or K3 though

What BIOS revision are you on?

It's F51d, from 2021. It's two versions old, but four years more recent than the screenshot from the overclocking guide Gigabyte links to here

  3. I'm trying to overclock my Ryzen 5 2600, but my motherboard's voltage settings are missing a majority of the settings that Gigabyte says it should have

Is there anything I can do to work around or fix this? I was initially trying to use Ryzen Master but I've heard some horror stories that eeked me back out to the bios

Edit: to be clear I did my googling, all i could find were some no-reply threads on here from ~2017

Also; iFixit doesn't put one of those in their kits?

    They do:

Idk why OP felt the need to make another

ETA: looking at OP's model I think I can see where they're coming from, the standard adapter doesn't put the bit in contact with the magnet in the handle so the magnet's weaker, and it does stick out pretty far, which OP's model would fix. I don't think that it would be particularly strong printed in plastic, though.

  5. The locked mode on my new screwdriver doesn't always actually  lock the shaft when switching to it from the "counterclockwise" position (right hand rule pointing away from the bit) Hopefully this video demonstrates it well enough:

I don't think it's a big enough problem to be "An Issue" but i felt like i should make the team aware of it

Oh, and I haven't used the screwdriver heavily, I just got it in the mail today and have used it to put two screws into wood

  6. Really cool to see this video right after getting my Salnotes 7Hz Zeros, which I've been loving so far. I wish Salnotes sold that case as a separate product, I've just been wrapping them over-under and tossing them in my pocket, but they always tangle with my keys cuz i forget which pocket they're in.

A lot of people are complaining about the inaccuracies in the video, and like, y'all are technically correct, but for an LTT video marketed at people who don't know anything about the subject it's generally better not to get bogged in the details, yk?

not sure why the video makes it sound like adding the latest zfs version to a distro was so hard.

you just add the repo and install zfs

zfs from the zfs repo doesn't have support from the distro. They're an actual business, they need actual enterprise software (which is to say actual support).

Just kidding they should've used arch LUL

I visited some friends, when they lived in Louisiana. I obliterated their data cap in 20 minutes, because they had a 1GB per week Data Cap. Then I learned that any data used between midnight and 5am wasn't counted towards the cap, so... There was that.

    I hate data caps.

1 GIGABYTE PER WEEK!? Are they on 4g or something??
