  1. I hope AMD keeps the innovation going because someone needs to keep Intel in check with its ridiculous pricing at the professional end.
  2. I've been thinking and I may be wrong here, but hear me out. AMD has launched its 7nm products and they are competing favourably well if not beating Intel's chips (which are still using the old 14nm architecture) in certain workloads. I mean AMD has overpromised and underdelivered with first gen Ryzen and is only now getting close to Intel with its gen 3. Price was its eventual trump card against intel with gen 1 and gen 2. So I was wondering when Intel does figure things out and launch its 10nm and hopefully 7nm products, they are going to be much more faster than AMD's competing processors right?
  3. There were mentions of an ultrasound mod for S10 or some other phone.
  4. Samsung Vietnam apparently posted a video showing a foldable phone. They took it down shortly but someone's uploaded it again. Could this be the real thing? Looks polished. https://www.droid-life.com/2019/01/31/samsung-concept-video-teases-foldable-device/ https://www.theverge.com/2019/2/1/18206525/samsung-folding-display-leak-unpacked
  5. I agree. Mavericks was stable enough for professional use, at least for me. I still know music producers stuck on Mountain Lion and unwilling to upgrade further as they're worried about AU/ VST plugin stability. Everything after that felt rushed. Mojave has been good so far. But then the issues faced by people vary with the kind of dedicated use they're into.
  6. Great video! I was laughing so hard throughout. The intro was pure gold. I hope you do more videos in this series. I didn't know Linus' Lambo still worked after all it went through at LTX!
  7. What's your pick on the worst macOS release in recent memory?
  8. Anyone here tried VIVALDI? It's very impressive and privacy focused. I think the former team from Opera is behind it.
  9. Because Apple's hardware lineup is made up of just a handful of computers (laptops, Minis and desktops), it can afford to spend its time tweaking macOS on all the aforementioned pieces of hardware endlessly and thus making them 'nicer' to use with excellent optimization. Apple does charge a premium for the experience. Windows on the otherhand, is Microsoft trying to be the jack of trades with infinite number of hardware combinations on a huge scale. The probability of something going wrong somewhere is always there. So while it may not be perfect, it's good enough for the majority who cannot afford Macs or dislike its closed wall approach.
  10. I hope that comes true. Genuine car content with a dash of LTT crazy would take the channel to a whole different level.
  11. 2012 Mac Mini here. Updated to Mojave a couple of weeks ago mostly for the dark mode. Compared to High Sierra, Mojave is relatively more stable for me and has been a better experience so far. Sierra was horrible. I had multiple crashes on it every single day.
  12. Considering how cars are getting more and more loaded with technology and electric cars becoming increasingly popular, will LTT do electric car reviews in the future?
