If you are still into Isaac, there is a mod called AntiBirth that is really good, adds like a different route to take to fight mom. and generates very different enemies and bosses. Nuclear Throne is a very good game as well, imagine enter the gungeon with a wasteland theme. Other people on the topic seem to recommend Monolith as well. Nuclear Throne and AntiBirth I can vouch for.

This is a fine build. The only real recommendation I would have is to get the Ryzen 5 2400G as it is only a couple bucks more at this time. I have one and after I added a used rx580 in the system it ran beautifully. Those cores do help sometimes, especially if you do plan on working lightly. Also going from Vega 8 to Vega 11 might be a bit more enjoyable till you get the gpu.

After looking around some it seems that what you said was correct. One of my razer progams seems to be the culprit behind this. So I will be uninstalling Cortex, and hope that fixes the problem.

In creative workloads, the Vega 64 seems to outperform team green on a couple of fronts. You won't get as good of a gaming experience as say a GTX 1080. But you can find some Vega 64s new on Newegg for $400 (Gigabyte models I believe). Making it currently a better value than say an RTX 2060/70

OmicronEta got a reaction from Ranajoy Shil in Can any of guys suggest me a gaming laptop under 800 US dollars?
The real only 2 laptops that hit this price point are going to be Acer Nitro 5 and the Dell G series. I think Linus has a video where he compares them. You really should watch that and maybe make your decision off that. Also, you will not find many gaming laptops with Ryzen in them until you hit the high end.

Just so what he said makes sense. Ryzen 3000 / Navi GPUs are going to be announced next week, and most likely to be released on 7/7 due to the 7nm cores that they make now. This announcement will definitely bring the price of many things down as AMD is very aggressive on their pricing. Your CPU is going to need the upgrade first IMO. But right now one of the best deals that you could pair with the 2070 is gonna be the i7-8700. It's 300 flat on Amazon right now.  But if you would push for it the i7-9700k is around $400. At this time( like for the next couple weeks) the only reason to get AMD is if you have an under $200 budget for the CPU or if you really need the cores at a lower price point. But Leaks for their Ryzen 5 3600 (x maybe) seem to be about as powerful as the i7-9700k and AMD prices their Ryzen 5s at the launch at 200 to 300. That's why many people are saying to wait. Zen 2 is coming.

There really isn't any reason to overclock the ram in your computer unless its a lower clock. Everything here seems fine. Maybe go for a Mushkin pilot or a WD Blue SN500. They are the same price but are NVME drives

Make sure you get a version if you do for the GDDR5 Vram over the DDR4. There is a huge performance gap.

Agreed, a WD Blue SN500 would be a great drive to add in as its only 70 bucks or something. The 1660ti tho is a much smaller upgrade from a 1060, but it is a fine one.

This will only NOT be bottlenecked if you are playing Triple A's at max settings. If you prefer ESport games (Rocket League, Dota, Overwatch, CSGO, LOL), Then a 144Hz Refresh would be a very worthy investment, and if you play more AAA games a 1440p makes more sense, at 60hz or more. The GTX 1660ti is a very capable card, tho the ryzen 2600 is good, this could be better.

Yup. Go for a B450 Motherboard with a Ryzen 7 2700x or cut it down to a Ryzen 5 2600 and then get a bios update and go for a Zen 2 chip when they come out.

OmicronEta got a reaction from Techla in RTX 2060 + ryzen 3 2200g
Yes. the Ryzen 3 barely bottlenecks an RX580 / GTX 1060. Drop the RTX for the GTX 1660ti and use the extra cash for a Ryzen 5 2600(x). You will get better performance due to the lack of a bottleneck, unless you really want ray tracing or want the RTX's video encoder then the GTX 1660ti makes more sense.

OK, first of all, even if you take the ITX with the i7 and 1080 to LTX, IT'S STILL an i7-8700k and 1080ti. It would be fine for no matter what you do. But if you have the time and patience and willingness to, You could put the i9/RTX in the Ghost and take it to LTX and put it in the Corsair when you get back home.

An Iphone 6 sells refurbished on newegg for less than 200. You might want to do the same with like a Samsung note  or galaxy, maybe an older 1+ as well such as a 3.

OmicronEta got a reaction from XenonRxd in Rx 580 or 1660ti for 1080p 60fps
The RX is slower and is not nearly as new. Even new the RX 580 is around 80-100 dollars cheaper, used its about 60 less. If you have the money the 1660ti is a much better choice and is definitely more future proof. As good as the RX is it is for the price, Whipping the low-end GTX, it still is a little old and on the lower end.

I Have to agree. I think that the only thing that needs a refresh is the GPU and maybe power supply if you are getting a power sucker. The core and chipset are still perfectly fine and the ram is as well. If you want my recommendation would just be putting the budget it into an RTX2080.
