  1. Would this microphone also help with my background noise issue and sensitivity issue that I have with the AT2035? I really like the look of that one, highly considering. Looking at a few videos on it now.
  2. Thank Sloth for the great information on your link, this has helped me a lot. So after reading what you got posted I am thinking of upgrading the AT2035 to the Electro-Voice RE320, alongside the Triton Audio FetHead. Do you think this would be a good combo to go with my Behringer UMC404HD?
  3. Hello all, I'm a huge noob when it comes to audio and I've been trying to get a better understanding of how it all works. I started out by getting a Behringer UMC404HD, I have my microphone plugged into Input 1 and my guitar 1/4" cord plugged into Input 2. Let's ignore Input 3 and 4 for now. I was satisfied with the quality of the UMC404HD and it does everything I need and everything my future needs have. (Bookshelf speakers on the outputs on the back as well as MIDI for future piano) However I was unhappy with how QUIET my microphone can be. My microphone is an AT2035 from Audio-Technica. I've tried a lot of things to get it to be louder, however unfortunately I have to crank the gain up. But I don't want to pick up every little thing that happens in my room. So I though maybe I should get a small condenser microphone instead? But I'm not sure. Any advice here would be great. But what I ended up doing was purchasing a Yamaha MG06 mixer, I figured maybe I can increase the levels from the mixer, then have it go through my audio interface to communicate with the computer, maybe I'm just entirely wrong here but the ONE TIME I got it to actually work, it was WAY QUIETER and if I turned up anything it would instantly start clipping. This is where Input 3 and Input 4 come in play. They plug up to my mixer. Any advice would be great. How do you properly use a mixer? Am I supposed to use phantom power on both devices for the microphone or only one? Should I just ditch the mixer and get a small condenser microphone? I'm honestly completely lost in this realm ever since trying to tinker with mixers and I can't seem to find any good guide on how to understand the differences, what I need, or what I want. Maybe I'm just not googling the right shit. Thanks in advance fellas.
  4. Interesting, if I have a game like Runescape on my third or second monitor, it uses the GT 710, but it seems that for whatever reason video decoding is always being done on RX 580.

Hey all, My main GPU is a RX 580, and I noticed when streaming and having my own stream pulled up on my secondary monitor to keep an eye on chat and make sure the stream is running smoothly, I was very easily pulling 30% of my GPU on that alone. Leaving me only 70% for the game itself. I wanted to remedy this by adding in my old GT 710 to my system and plugging up those monitors to it. So the current setup is as follows; Main Monitor, 1080p 144hz -> RX 580 Second Monitor, 1080p 60hz -> GT 710 Third Monitor, 1080p 60hz -> GT 710 But of course, things weren't this simple. I still find that my RX 580 is taking the load and my GT 710 isn't doing anything. Any ideas on this? How can I get my GT 710 to process both my secondary monitors while leaving the main monitor alone? Below is just me watching a stream at 720p 30fps with a few applications open such as Google Chrome and Discord
  7. I don't really have much space to place a switch in here. Perhaps I will in this room if I end up with a 3rd device. Lol. But for now I do not see myself needing a switch.
  8. Damn. I have enough ports to run another cable from my second computer to the other. It's just I gotta order another one from Amazon. So I was wondering if I could save the 17 bucks and just do this since I have a little 3 foot ethernet cable Looks like I'm ordering another 33 footer.
  9. Hey guys, I just had a simple question. Does anyone know if I run an Ethernet cable from my router to my PC, then a crossover Ethernet cable from the 2nd lan port to my other PC. If both PC's will get internet? Also would the first PC need to be powered on for the second PC to get internet access?

  11. Yeah I was thinking of going a PLC route. Using a microcontroller to receive both inputs from both motherboards and sort it out. But I feel like there is a much better way to come across this.

  13. One system to be used for streaming, hosting servers, hosting a NAS, whatever the hell I want it to do pretty much. Nothing gaming related. One system to be used strictly for gaming.
