  1. Thx for the tip, its been a lifesaver got it working! so digital family dinner for xmas it is this year. Thank you and merry christmast.
  2. Thank you, got the driver and my pc now detects a webcam in Device manager, how ever im not getting any picture trying discord / facebook / teams. So ima look into that issue now.
  3. Update from 3 years ago: Motherboard had pin issues on the cpu.
  4. I recently did a fresh install for my pc, loosing what drivers i used to have. My webcam worked fine before this, as i found a driver for this old webcam [ Creative webcam VF0680 ] Now how ever, i cant for the -LIFE- of me find a valid place to get this driver. Im in quarenteene so i would like to do a video chat with my family for xmas dinner, time is running out and im hoping any one here can be helpful. Ive spent probably 2 hours but most places i get to is maleware. Specs if relevant: Windows 10 64bit I5 9600k 1070ti 16gb's of ram
  5. I did Cmos once, but that was with an SSD connected, tough, the ssd is fresh out of box, with nothing on it. Like the rest of the pc. Perhaps ill go try that tough.
  6. Greetings friends. Frist post, as i am now completely out of ideas. I'll list my components first. Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming K3 GPU : 1070Ti from Msi CPU: Core i5- 9600k Coffe lake refresh. Ram: G.skill trident Z 16Gb 3000mhz. PSU: Cant remember form the top of my head. its a 650W crom Corsair,, like 4 years old. Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500ssd. Seagate barracuda 3Tb 3.5 Hdd. Onto my problem! After putting every thing In, my system starts for roughly 20 seconds, then shuts off, and restarts. No screen activity at all. My motherboard keeps switching lights between Cpu and Dram before settling on Dram. As it shuts down the light shuffles back over at the CpU for a split second before the system dies. I've tried the following: - Tried only the motherboard without any other components then bare minimum. -Ram in different slots, and different ram. -With and without the graphics card -Starting without using the powerButton - Taken every thing out of the case, and back in 2 times. - Setup on a cardboard box to make sure its not the case thats the problem. Any one got some tips? or should i just proclaim it dead? Its been to long for me to get a refund, im pretty sure since i bought it all on black friday, I just dont really have a lot of spare time sadly.
  7. Thanks. It was shipped yesterday, so I assume it arrives today or tomorrow. I will just have to check . I dont really want to shave off stuff, as It most likely will look crap.
  8. So I bought parts during black friday, and naive as i am I forgot to check the depth of the case. Im short 3mm. These are the essential parts: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Cooling-Core-Frozr-XL/dp/B07DQ96XDL https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MCX-B5S3T-RWNN-Dual-tone-Configuration/dp/B01N7FZ1QD https://www.amazon.co.uk/Z370-Aorus-Gaming-K3-Motherboard/dp/B075ZZ4XDD Now. I guess I already know the answer, but I want to check. Do any one think its possible to just.. squeeze this in ? In worst case scenario, can i go open case until I can get an other one ?
