  1. Yo so i have the same problem as you where i have an rtx 2060 and my monitor doesn't support display port could you link the adapter you bought

  2. thank you glenwing, fixed my issue, went and got a displayport and its working perfectly. you are in my debt XD
  3. i tried doing this through nvidia control panel as well and it still did the same thing
  4. asus vg248qe 144hz monitor, before i was using a DVI cable but the RTX doesnt have a DVI port so i got an HDMI to DVI converter cable with the HDMI connected on the graphics card and the DVI connected to the monitor, my friend has an HDMI to DVI converter cable and is able to select his refresh rate to 144hz and we have the same monitors
  5. I just got an RTX 2070 XC ultra gaming graphics card and once i installed it and got all my drivers up to date, i tried setting my refresh rate to 144hz like i always had with my past graphics card (GTX 1070 SC) but for some reason it wont let me change the refresh rate, the only option i have is 60hz and i went out and bought a new 1.3 HDMI chord, that didnt work so i returned the HDMI chord and bought an HDMI to DVI-D converter and it still does not work. i checked to see if my monitor had any driver updates but it is up to date and i dont know what else to do? any help would be appreciated.
