sweet! thanks guys, def gave me a great place to start one more question about the Mobo anything i should be looking out for besides the socket type?? like ram channels or anything like that? or should i be ok with pretty much anything since itll just be kids gaming comp

sooo Guys I got a i7 2600 (non k) cpu lying around and i want to build my nephews a (cheap but efficient) gaming rig for christmas. they spend all their time watching other people play games on youtube and i want them to join in. it doesn't have to be super OP but atleast be able to minecraft, csgo, and fortnite on medium to high, and any other new more demanding games on low to medium.. just want to be able to atleast load and play whatever without too much stress. any recommendations? or should i just get a prebuilt and call it a day??? thanks for any help yall can throw my way. budget around $300 to $500 US, i have 8 gigs of ddr3 lying around too. so looking for a Motherboard a graphics card a PSU (i have a 750 watt in my old rig but i really dont trust it, old and full of dust but ill try to salvage it if you guys can tell me what to lookout for.) a SSD a cool case would be nice too ( but im willing to cheap out on the case for better performance) this would be my first time building. so any help at all would be appreciated. heard you guys were the best
