    I'd rather find out exactly whats causing this to avoid any cascade issues in the future. The cable wasn't being used.

    Thats the error I get in UEFI when booting a new system. ASUS STRIX B450-F Gaming motherboard with a Noctua NH-L9a fan and cooler. The fan starts to spin at boot, but then stops. I have tried PWM mode and DC mode at minimum 600 RPM. I connected the Noctua fan to other headers and it works. I have connected the Noctua fan in another machine and it works. I have tried the CPU stock fan on the CPU fan header and it works. I have tried a chassis fan in the CPU fan header and it works. I am not sure how to get the Noctua fan working on the correct pins.
