  1. To test valves implementation of Vulkan best thing to do at the moment is use Underlord in demo mode. Max his level and give him 6 battlefurys. Spawn 10 enemy Heroes and farm some damage up then go crazy and spawn as many as you want spamming you abilities at them and killing them with your crazy damage. Made my config run to below 30 fps last I tried.
  2. If any problems pop up I hope mistakes are paid for at the very least... Looking forward to using mine but this doesn't make me feel very safe in using it. They should've used an 8 pin. Also wouldve been nicer as most cables are 6+2 pins.
  3. Of course the event is during my final uni class for the semester today...
  4. As far as I can tell the initial Polaris 10 and 11 probably won't be worth me upgrading. So will probably wait for Vega or Navi and upgrade then along with a monitor upgrade.
  5. Wow that looks amazing (first HP laptop I would gladly use). If I hadn't recently bought a laptop this would be the one I would now buy.
  6. CPU: Core i7 4790K (Stock) GPU: MSI R9 390 Gaming 8GB RAM: 4x8GB G.Skill RipjawsZ 2133MHz CL11 DDR3 Score: 7.2
  7. Still really gutted that the Libs decided to go for too many options and relying on the copper network. I understand the need to do FTTB in apartments and stuff but its no use doing FTTN everywhere. Thankfully I am in one of two suburbs in the city I live in that will be receiving FTTP. Gets installed on 22nd Feb and will be getting 100/40 with an "unlimited" data plan (~1TB due to fair use policy). Can't wait till someone cleans the policy change made under the Libs. My previous town before the previous election was ready to have fiber installed the following month but the Libs got in and changed the plan to FTTN. Delaying the install in my previous town by 2-3 years and providing a worse solution.
  8. Can't wait till we have the SSD pricing the same as current HDD prices for said capacities.
  9. Anyway I guess ill see what I can decide on. May just end up going with the EK Predator 360 and adding the GPU block to that.
  10. Thanks for replying. I really don't mind adding a little bit more rad space than usual needed for a single CPU and GPU. Basically tossing up positioning and sizes. If I were to keep the hdd cage as is do you think a 240 in the top and a single 140 in the front would work well? Only reason I was looking at a 240 or 280 in the front as well is the pricing for it isn't that much more. I was also looking at some of the Hardware Labs GTS XFlow rads. If I went with two of those I was thinking 280 in top and 240 in front might work?
  11. I currently have an i7 4790K which runs at 4.8GHz with 1.3V. I have been using a Silverstone Tundra TD02-E which has not been sufficient in cooling it when overclocked, especially due to the heat in summer. I also have a MSI R9 390 Gaming which runs quite hot despite great airflow in and out of the case by two Noctua NF-A14 Industrial PPC (3000RPM). So currently I was considering a custom loop if a block gets released for my graphics card. I am not sure if I can fit say a 280mm or another 240mm rad in the front with the drive bay still in its normal position in the Enthoo Pro M. Current idea is to get: CPU Block: EK Supremacy Evo Nickel Plexi GPU Block: Whatever becomes available. Pump/Res Combo: EK XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM Radiators: Unsure Fittings: EK ACF Compression Fitting Nickel (3/8 ID 5/8 OD) Tubing: PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Clear (3/8 ID 5/8 OD) Coolant: EK Ekoolant EVO Clear Premix Any suggestions would be great as it is really hard figuring out what can fit in the Pro M nicely. Would really like to use 1x 240 Rad and 1x 280 Rad if possible due to already have 2x NF-F12's and 2x NF-A14's.
  12. Thankyou!!! Been wanting to make a custom loop for my system for a while but haven't been game enough till a proper full cover waterblock comes out for the MSI R9 390.
  13. That is downright the best looking motherboard I have ever seen...
  14. What bastards. How could you do something like that to a guy who gave you work and was suffering as is... I don't see him being able to trust anyone anytime soon. So sad.
  15. For the most part I am a snob about all things tech. However my latest extreme delve into being a snob would have to be with motherboards. I refuse to suggest one if it doesn't "look right", that could be from colouring in some cases or if it isnt a full size atx (the cheap ones which cut off some of the screw mounts). The main thing I am a snob about with motherboards though is the number of specific ports, their placement and whether they are added in or native to the chipset. Thankfully when I got my Z97 Pro Gamer earlier in the year almost everything was native to the chipset, it had intel ethernet and the ports where in places I liked. I also find I am having difficulty choosing a laptop for University too since I find 1366x768 doesn't give enough desktop space for me (since I like to have 2 documents or apps open side by side) but I also don't want to buy an expensive laptop which I know will either become obsolete for me too quickly or become really grimy or die. As I said though I get very snobby about anything tech hehe. Oh and last thing storage is what I have now become very snobby about since originally getting a 60GB SSD in 2013 than a 250GB SSD in 2014 and now a 1TB SSD in 2015. Almost all my friends have either really clogged ssds or slow hdds as their boot devices and I find it just makes troubleshooting for them take twice as long due to file access times etc (doesn't help I have to help them regularly too). Since getting a 1TB SSD though for my personal rig it is amazing and can't wait to see what intel optane ssds will be like.
  16. For me it would depend where I was living. I know for me in Rural Australia I always make people buy non stock coolers if they have the money as in summer it easily throttles from the heat.
  17. That ZBOX will be really useful either for LANs or even for my mum to use at home or work as its so small and powerful enough to handle anything you can throw at it (maybe apart from very heavy CAD etc). Will be looking forward to seeing who gets it
  18. Sounds good however I hope it isn't something that solely helps Nvidia GPUs although it probably does or they would have no competitive reason to develop it.
  19. Yes, luckily for myself I am one of 5 people in my street in a rural area to access a Fixed Wireless connection and I get ~40Mbps Down and ~15Mbps Up most of the time. The rest of my street is stuck on max of 6Mbps with people at the end of the street including some close friends being stuck on 2Mbps which regularly drops to about 512Kbps. The uploads in the street usually max around 200Kbps as well at good times. When a storm comes through or rats chew the lines (as they have multiple times throughout the years) Telstra says they will fix it but all they ever do is a dodgy patch of the line.
  20. At least this has reminded me to get my details updated. Have since purchased a Constellation Andromeda instead of my previous Aurora MR and Mustang Delta.
  21. Can't wait to finish the HSC and move onto new things. Really excited to see how VR matures and how they run with next years GPUs.

  22. This looks like it would be good for a new MITX case like the RVZ01 except if they added a little more height. But very limited use cases.
  23. I'm annoyed about that purely due to ping. However if they have Aussie servers and lots of players I won't mind.
