  1. After asking on HP Forums, a user replied, saying my motherboard didn't support UEFI or something along those lines. Rest in pepperoni, now it's time for me to wait to upgrade.
  2. I knew that darn CPU was gonna bottleneck, and that ram is low too. Hopefully I can fix that eventually when I get a new CPU, motherboard, and ram, with a case is currently very limiting, barely could even fit my graphics card in it. Thanks for giving the information.
  3. Here's a link- I changed the PSU to a Corsair CX450 and added that GPU in it. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02858497
  4. I just installed my graphics card earlier today and was trying to get drivers on it. I went to AMD's site trying to get drivers for it(Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition) after I removed Intel drivers using DDU, I clicked 'Accept and Express Install' and it says 'Components are already installed.' After quickly trying to play ROBLOX and Fortnite a bit, although I can go to higher settings, I'd say they aren't what I expected, with ROBLOX running at 10 fps at max, and Fortnite being unplayable. I then tried going to the manufacturers site for drivers, Sapphire. It didn't seem to help at all I'm not really sure what to do now. .
  5. I'm not really sure anymore as I've bought the new power supply and graphics card, which just arrived and the psu arrived days ago, and they are fine- except for the graphics card but that's a another top. So, problem solved?
  6. Well I can certainly tell you this, that PSU is not going to take care of a GPU like that.
  7. I mean I'm not looking for the GTX 1060 anymore. I'm considering buying a RX 480 actually.
  8. Thanks for the advice and the thing I was looking for.
  9. Thanks for the tip, I wasn't looking to save a quick buck at all, I just followed advise from a person on HP forums. Thank you for the welcoming greeting!
  10. The current PSU is currently a 250 watt PSU, the graphics card I'm looking for is a GTX 1060 3 GB, I'm from the US, and I plan to order it online.
  11. So I plan to get a graphics card for my HP P7 1017c. I been thinking of this for a while so I'd like to see if I am good to go or rethink this. Thanks! -VentureDev
