  1. To anyone having this issue in the future with the STEAM version of fh5, refund and buy the game through the xbox app. They both have different variants of launchers and sign ins and with the xbox app/windows store version I had no issue. Off topic but for anyone with not much money wanting to play, the xbox game pass is currently 1 dollar for 3 months. You'll get access to fh5 and more.
  2. This is first time launching the game. Going into the settings or trying to press play immediately tries to connect to something, it looks a lot like the window in fh4 where it connects to your xbox profile. Mind you I have updated my drivers, updated my xbox app, and windows store app, etc. The game was purchased on steam. I have no antivirus running, or anything of the sort, my windows is up to date too. I recently played fh4 within the month (reinstalled and everything) and had it connect with that little pop up window without any issues. My computer specs are more than the requirements for the game. Here's a video of what happens: I have confirmed that it is the sign in window crashing my game.
  3. I just recently purchased and have been using a pair of steel series arctis 7 and the only issue I'm having with them currently is the fact that all of the audio is mainly focused in the left ear, that means literally no bass/vocals in the right ear at all, however it is there but only faint and normal treble things are just fine. I have tried to install the drivers and such and restarted but it didn't help. I also tried to use it wirelessly and wired through the hub, it did not work either. Can anyone help?
  4. I assume you just use tune in CTR and it will automatically find a stable frequency and voltage?
  5. I have not, wasn't aware of this tool. Gonna try it out now.
  6. Looking to overclock from stock, is it worth clocking to 4.4ghz @ 1.25v all cores? I can also do 4.5 on the fastest cores and 4.4 on the rest no issues. Just wondering if that's worth the extra voltage to the cores or even worth the oc at all. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated. If someone also has advice regarding PBO and how to set it up, that'd also be great, however I've heard mixed results with it. Note: Cooling is adequate for overclocking, I am not using the stock heatsink.
  7. I downloaded pingplotter, although I have no idea what to do with it or what to look for. I also did the test, here's the results. https://gyazo.com/97b678d64ff7737f134489bff6f0c4f9
  8. All three of them require online connections. Just to clarify (I should've said something earlier) Gyazo the application itself starts no issue, and takes the screenshot, it just takes a long time to send it to my browser. I'd also like to say that I did reinstall google chrome, which did nothing. Studio launches as an application and connects, while the normal game itself is joined from the browser. So it seems it's connection based potentially, because of studio not being browser related I wouldn't say it was that.

  10. I am using win 10, apologies for marking as solution, was an accident. I assume I use "Verify or repair bad sectors"?
  11. Suggestions? This m.2 is brand new, got in literally last month, but I can still check it.
  12. The issue with that is, taking screenshots takes way longer to load, you can't simply just leave the application open. Same with the game itself, it launches the client for each instance of the game place. Studio is the only thing I can keep open that you're talking about, which I already do.
  13. Most of any applications I start are nearly always instant, and this was never really an issue until it suddenly was. I've tried reinstalling the applications that do this, restarting my computer, clearing all of the local files it leaves behind, restoring to before it started to happen. I'd like to clarify that this does not happen with all applications, only some. I'm a roblox developer, so the specific issue is both the client and the studio client. This also happens with Gyazo. I've noticed that they just run in the background for approx. 30-60 seconds to start as a background process. All of my other applications work fine, and same with any games that I play. Here are my specs: Ryzen 1700x (Stock cooler/overclocked 3.925ghz) Corsair Vengeance 16gb 2666mhz EVGA 1070 SC (overclocked) for the storage drive these applications are located on: Patriot p300 m.2 NVMe ssd Also, I've done multiple checks on ping and internet speeds, seems fine. Any feedback is appreciated.
  14. So, should I even use a lot of virtual memory, what's a good amount, I have 16gb of ram, I also have a SATA SSD that I can use for virtual memory, or even the m.2 itself.
  15. Whenever I download something onto my main drive, a secondary hard drive that I use spikes in usage up to 100%. The files don't temporarily download onto the HDD, or even cache there. My main drive (m.2) is what I like to download some of my steam games on, however while downloading it uses both my M.2 and my HDD. I'm not sure if this is a steam only issue as far as I can remember, but it can be rather annoying for multitasking while downloading. Note: I do use the hard drive for virtual memory, and I do have a separate steam library folder on the hard drive. Sorry if this is something extremely basic, searching it usually yields nothing as I'm not sure what to search for to begin with. Any explanation or help would be appreciated.
  16. All sorted. Thanks for helping me through it all, much appreciated my man. Keep up the good deeds, karma will help ya if you believe in that thing. Have a good day.
  17. Do you think you can find a router meeting my specs in my area in a walmart? (I want to be able to go and return my current one and get the newer one in the same trip) Zipcode: 75093
  18. Do you have a recommendation for what i should buy that's somewhat cheap?
  19. Yes, I have tried 4 different cables already, same issue. But the exact cable i've used straight into the modem and i've gotten the 400mb/s
  20. It says 100mb/s Also, you're exactly right. I didn't specify but order of plugging in doesn't matter in the modem. It will always prioritize my computer over the router, and will not do both.
  21. They did activate it over the phone, 100mb/s I pay for 450mb/s. Ultra plan, highest plan on home before a business. Plugging straight into the router gets me the 100mb/s while plugging straight into the modem gets me the full speeds. My old modem allowed me to plug into it with 2 connections behind my router. This one does not send internet to both, and I have tried every order of cable into the back of it.
  22. So I've been having extremely bad ping issues recently, and had Spectrum do all the over the phone stuff to try and fix the issue, and I eventually got tired and went out and bought a new modem and router. The issue is that the modem will not feed internet to both my pc and router, only one at a time. Ordinarily this is no issue, but using the ports on the back of the router only gets me 25% of the MB/s that I pay for. Using my old modem and router will get me my true speeds but my ping will constantly spike up to 600ms. (Unacceptable while playing games like LoL) However I'd like to note that replacing both the modem and the router fixed the ping issues I was having. Any idea what to do guys? Modem: Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 Netgear AC1000 Router: Netgear AC1000
  23. it automatically is the same voltage and timings as the xmp profile for 3000, and on the box it ironically says "built for ryzen"
