Talking about folding RIG, I am so broke that i can't even afford an i5 using i3 6100 GTX 1050TI 4 GB 8GB 2133 MHz RAM by corsair

I want to buy a RAM stick, but i need to know that does RAM speed really matters, I have an corsair valueselect 8 gigs DDR4 2133mhz RAM. So should i just buy more 8 GB or sell this one to get hands on high speed 16 gigs of RAM. sorry for my bad English, I am trying hard to learn and eliminate most of my mistakes.
