  1. There are a few tools out there that might allow it to work.. never tired it myself as I dont have a Blue Ray player.. I think AnyDVD HD is one of the things that you can use, but again not something I have tried myself. Someone here might have more knowledge about it.
  2. My phone connects to my car via bluetooth.. so i just press the forward and back buttons on the head unit in the car.
  3. Yeah thats pretty much spot on for that.. You could possibly try running with lower voltage to see if that helps might be able to get the temps down a bit with that.
  4. Dont think there are many around especially in Europe.. I ordered one on Amazon.co.uk on release but two weeks after they decided to tell me they could not get it until mid August.. So I cancelled my order and got a 3800x from another company.. Kind of glad I did that as there has still been no sign of the 3900x in Europe and Amazon now say they should have some in two months LOL...
  5. As mentioned above AMD is still cheaper even if going with the x570s.. but AMD actually give you the choice to use their older motherboards so technically you could spend as little as £50 on a mobo and it would still work. AMD has totally changed the market now with the release of the new platform and CPUs.. There is now real competition again and Intel now need to step up. I think the next 10 years are going to be really interesting in the CPU market..
  6. what kind of performance issues ? What are the rest of your specs ?
  7. err yeah just use update assistant as above.. Surprised your computer has not wanted to install it yet Microsoft would have pushed that out to everyone by now. But if its crashing just making a bootable usb stick then you have more issues than just not being able to urn on RTX
  8. Ah yes but I was talking about a proper Gsync monitor with the gsync chip in it.. Would be a waste of a monitor to go with AMD if he has one of those.
  9. I would check out the reviews for them.. they are seriously good cards at that price point..
  10. Why not look at the AMD 5700xt ? unless you have a gsync monitor or something then I would say its the best card to go for at that kind of price. .wait for the 3rd part suppliers to get their cards in stock with the better cooling solutions.
  11. I mean you could upgrade to anything but why do you want to if you currently have it running ? Unless you are having issues of course.
  12. hmm stock and PBO if i remember to turn PBO on haha when i get some spare time I might see what i can get with a manual overclock.
  13. Your speeds you are already getting seem about right.. You wont get an all core overclock much higher than that. its also normal to see the clock speeds going up and down even when gaming.. BF5 should be using all the cores really so will be harder for the CPU to hit higher speeds on them all the time. You can try a manual overclock but I dont think it will help.. problem may be something else like drivers and so on.
  14. If he is only playing games then getting the 3900x even if it was possible at the moment would be a waste of time.. 3600 would be fine of course if he is just gaming and nothing else.. if he does a lot of streaming as well then maybe the 3700x would be a better choice.. now if he games, streams and does other stuff like video editing or graphics design stuff on the side then sure go for the 3900x
