Looking for the absolute best headphones I can get for under $350 AUD / $250 USD so I can give my current headphones to my boyfriend. I currently have ATH-M50x's with an ASUS Xonar AE 7.1 sound card. Should I: - Just get a better sound card - Get better headphones (if so, which?) - Get better headphones and a sound card (if so, which?) - Keep what I have and buy my boyfriend a new pair of his own The ones I have in mind are the Sennheiser HD599's and the ATH990Z.

Fixing the collapsed tube tonight by replacing it, adding a drain valve and re-filling the loop with distilled water + EK CryoFuel White Concentrate. Keeping the clear CryoFuel for testing.

I will be partially draining the loop to achieve the 250mL:750mL ratio, measurements have been taken. A few degrees higher does not bother me, as my GPU load temp is 46c and my CPU load temp is 49c at 5GHz.

Both CryoFuel, one is white concentrate and the other is clear premix. Is it safe to mix the two to change the coolant to my desired color? Currently can't drain the loop.

After securing the tube with a zip tie it has returned to being perfectly circular. My stress temps dropped about 4c.

Tied a zip tie around the tube to widen it back out, and it seems to be fine now.

The OC BIOS allows higher power consumption, I already have the card overclocked, I just wish to push it further.

Recently applied a full cover waterblock to the card, is it safe to load the OC BIOS onto a non-OC model of the 1080Ti Strix? If it somehow goes wrong, does the card have a dual BIOS so I can revert my changes?

Just about to install the EKWB Supremacy Evo Classic on my de-liddid 7700k, does it matter if the IN port is going out and vice versa? How much of a difference will it make if I have it flowing the wrong way?

I am currently running a 7700k at 5GHz, however the 3900X's per thread performance is quite up there with triple the thread count. I do have the money, but is it worth it to upgrade? Also I'm unsure of how long AM4 will be supported for, don't want to upgrade if it will be made obsolete next year/the year after next. Currently running a 1080Ti, 7700K @ 5GHz and 16GB 3100MHz CL16 RAM.

Contacted the guy who de-lidded for me and asked if he can re-apply the liquid metal. However this is currently not an option for me. Any other suggestions?

All cores are also locked to 4.4GHz.

Those temps are under an all-core load (100% across the board) whilst in Cinebench. The pump is most definately working.

My pump is running at max RPM and has not ceased to do so, I am monitoring it constantly using EVGA's Flow Control software. I have now found ou that one CPU core is running 20c hotter than the rest: All of the rest of my cores are running at perfectly normal temperatures, core #1 just seems to be running insanely hot.

Over the past 24 hours, I've noticed my load temperatures are well in excess of 20-30c hotter. I am running a de-lidded 7700k, the IHS has also been replaced with copper, this was done a year ago. It is under an EVGA CLC 240mm AIO, running at maximum pump RPM and 1200RPM on the fans. Even when I put it back to stock clocks, my temperatures are still at 75c-80c under load (cinebench), where they used to be 60c-65c less than 48 hours ago. When applying my regular, day-to-day overclock settings of 4.8GHz on all cores, my temperatures exceed 90c under load, without my coolant being given the chance to warm up. What caused this change and how do I rectify it?

The following was sent by a friend, this is what he is experiencing: Anybody have any ideas? He has used DDU in safe mode, has updated Windows, has cleared his CMOS battery. Any help is greatly appreciated.

No individual cores go above 80% utilization during the GPU usage drops. As for DOOM the drops do happen for no apparent reason however I'm still at 200FPS most of the time.
