  1. So I installed a custom loop from alphacool a while ago, and I want to make sure that I plugged everything in where It was supposed to go. First is the pump, I plugged that into system fan and then pcie in my psu The CPU block has a bit of light on it and I plugged it into CPU fan. The fans are connected to a thermal take fan hub and they work great (I took them from my old aio) I am mostly nervous about the pump because I have no idea if it's plugged where it needs to be. If anybody can help me with this that would be soooo amazing.
  2. I am not dead set on Nvidia my top priority is price to performance. I have been considering changing to an AMD gpu and or cpu. I have seen how they seem to be cheaper and have similar performance. Thanks so much for the help
  3. So just getting all the liquid out and running it with distilled water for a while should do the trick?
  4. The reason for an upgrade is that I want to run my games one a 144p, 144hz 32 inch monitor at high settings. Also I am so thankful that ur helping me
  5. So I was going to upgrade my 1070 to a 1080ti but due to the fact that nvda stopped production on them they are very expensive now and I am not sure if I should get one. At first I was thinking on upgrading to a 2080 instead because the retail prices are similar but then I had an idea. 1070 cards are very very cheap theses days and I was wondering if I should get a second one and just do SLI. It doesn't seem to bad of an idea because the cards are so cheap and I will also be getting value out of my current card. Some people say that SLI will only just make one graphics card work for some games but I mostly play overwatch, rainbow six siege, and some destiny 2. Does SLI work for those games. Anyway, if anybody has any tips on what I should do for an upgrade please let me know. PS, is it worth getting computer parts on black Friday/cyber Monday Thanks in advance
  6. So I built my cooling loop in my PC at around the end of summer and I am going to flush the loop and replace the liquid and maybe the tubes (it's not hard tubing so it's a good idea) and I was wondering if u can get some help before I do it. One main thing I was wondering is if I can just drain the loop and then run some distilled water through the entire thing to clean it out rather than taking out each part to clean them and then put them back in. It seemed a lot easier because that way I would not need to put stuff back in but I am not sure if that could be bad for the loop and the parts. If you guys can help me with this or just give any other tips for loop maintenance that would be great. I looked around YT and I couldn't get any good answers. Thanks in advance
