Srijan Verma got a reaction from Blasty Blosty in PC won't post
Some motherboards will turn it off the IGPU if you have GPU plugged in. You will have to go to your BIOS and enable it.

Srijan Verma got a reaction from mrchow19910319 in android emulator for windows 10.
You could use the Android emulator that comes with Android studio, it'll let you easily install any apk and also you can also use any beta version of Android (if that's your thing)
Edit:
The emulator does have issues running any games, i don't remember what the reason was.

Srijan Verma got a reaction from Cannot_think_of_good_name in Intel Mobile CPU Naming... Explain?
So basically, up till 14th gen Intel followed this naming(taking 12th gen i7 as example) :
There's a i7-1260U, i7-1260P, i7-12700H,
12 in their name indicates 12th gen
The letter in the end Indicates the power consumption. U-Low power, P-middle ground between U and H, H-high power.
When you say power it usually refers to the wattage of the CPU. Higher power cpu s usually have higher number of cores and high clocks.
There is also a HX and HK.
HK are unlocked H processors usually with slightly higher clocks.
HX are Desktop cpus that have been repurposed for mobile usage.
Core Ultra:
Got rid of the generation indicator from the name
eg: Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 165H Processor and Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H Processor
as for the number "165" in the name is usually used to differentiate between processors with slight clock variations.
The 165H boosts to 5ghz, while the 155H boots to 4.8ghz.
7840U is a AMD cpu but also seem to follow the same scheme for letter U,H but their first number is not indicative of the generation instead they name it by the year (which is just a marketing tactic)

Srijan Verma got a reaction from Nicnac in VR Suggestions
The Kat things looks cool, but i wonder if it would actually be that useful.
For the headset i would say go for the quest 3. It is light, it has sick mixed reality mode and tetherless.
As for playing PC games on quest, it is actually very easy. You can use steam link or oculus link to stream games from your pc to heasdet.

Srijan Verma got a reaction from Prometheus75 in No boot after enabling Resizable Bar, Disabling CSM
linus actually has the same problem with his vr system, the solution iirc was to enable csm, boot into windows then run a command which switches from legacy to uefi without requiring a windows reinstall

Srijan Verma got a reaction from Takumidesh in App security
I am not 100% sure on this,
it is probably because the application is form an untrusted source, i.e. windows/anitvirus software does not know where the software came from/who made the software hence it tags it as malware/ prevents it from executing.
As for how to solve this,
You may want to look into "signing" you software using a digital signature. You can see how to sign here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/appxpkg/how-to-sign-a-package-using-signtool

Srijan Verma got a reaction from An0maly_76 in Can I move my NVME to another slot so I can get a new NVME
the drive that you are currently using is a gen 3 drive installed in a gen4 slot.
If you get the 980pro which is a gen4 drive , you should install it in the gen4 slot(the slot where your current ssd is installed in)

Srijan Verma got a reaction from ChristGuard in Need cheap PC for printing. Prebuilt or build myself?
I doubt that you'll be able to find custom parts for the same price. 1 thing you could do is add a 64-128gb ssd as the boot drive

i don't see an issue with anything in the list but
i have to ask, are you sure u want to go for a 60% keyboard? Since you mentioned unreal engine as one of the use cases, I couldn't live without having a separate functions row

Even though they were both samsung drives and you have a curicial one I don't think it should matter
