  1. Some motherboards will turn it off the IGPU if you have GPU plugged in. You will have to go to your BIOS and enable it.
  2. Does the Laptop not have a dedicated GPU? Also you cannot overclock a H series CPU
  3. Check if DSR is on in Nvidia control panel, (if you have Nvidia Gpu)
  4. On the download page it states only 8gb is required
  5. They have a section on their website stating all the compatible LED strips
  6. They dont ship a usb drive , got a Disc tho . Any 8gb drive should be enough for windows. 8gb drives from sandisk and hp are really cheap these days
  7. Seems to be a common issue with this monitor. https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/s/o6OAU1qLtF Also in most of these situations there are rarely guides out there but you can find some similar size monitor disassembly videos.
  8. You could use the Android emulator that comes with Android studio, it'll let you easily install any apk and also you can also use any beta version of Android (if that's your thing) Edit: The emulator does have issues running any games, i don't remember what the reason was.
  9. As the above answer it won't work, the main reason is because Thunderbolt has dedicated pins for pcie (4x connection) which is necessary for a egpu. Which is simply not possible with HDMI. Even if there was a way to connect via HDMI , HDMI 2.0 has a bandwidth of 18Gbps which is very little compared to (even considering pcie gen 3) pcie 4x (32Gbps for gen3 and 64Gbps for gen4)
  10. So basically, up till 14th gen Intel followed this naming(taking 12th gen i7 as example) : There's a i7-1260U, i7-1260P, i7-12700H, 12 in their name indicates 12th gen The letter in the end Indicates the power consumption. U-Low power, P-middle ground between U and H, H-high power. When you say power it usually refers to the wattage of the CPU. Higher power cpu s usually have higher number of cores and high clocks. There is also a HX and HK. HK are unlocked H processors usually with slightly higher clocks. HX are Desktop cpus that have been repurposed for mobile usage. Core Ultra: Got rid of the generation indicator from the name eg: Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 165H Processor and Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H Processor as for the number "165" in the name is usually used to differentiate between processors with slight clock variations. The 165H boosts to 5ghz, while the 155H boots to 4.8ghz. 7840U is a AMD cpu but also seem to follow the same scheme for letter U,H but their first number is not indicative of the generation instead they name it by the year (which is just a marketing tactic)
  11. you can find older drivers on the asus support website, just search your motherboard number
  12. The Kat things looks cool, but i wonder if it would actually be that useful. For the headset i would say go for the quest 3. It is light, it has sick mixed reality mode and tetherless. As for playing PC games on quest, it is actually very easy. You can use steam link or oculus link to stream games from your pc to heasdet.
