Summary Apple has removed the Shadow PC client app from its app store. It is unclear why they have made this move. The client app did not allow customers to create accounts or buy anything only access their existing shadow virtual machine. For those who do not know, shadow is a cloud gaming service, that unlike most allows you access to a full computer that you can run any software you like on it. This is the second time their app has been temporarily removed. Quotes My thoughts This is usual behavior for apple. Many people, including me are very worried that this is not anther accident and apple has found that they do have major problems with the app and are not going to allow this service to exist on their platform. This sort of behavior is the biggest problem with the app store, that goes beyond their 30% cut; Apple arbitrarily withdraws access to their platform giving users no recourse to get an app. Shadow is not like some apps that can just fall back on getting their users to use a web app. Their low latency system requires an actual application. You would just get some of the most common cable. The best seller on mono price for example. -

The idea is how it performs versus the specs.Yeah you could also compare vendors. The specs say cat 5E does not carry 10 gig at all but in reality it will carry it several meters, this is just one example of how reality may not conform to the spec. -

A video testing what category cable is needed for each speed at each length. People do run 10 gig over cat 5e, but no one seems to have clear answers on the length that it works at. The test matrix could look like this: Cat 5e UTP solid/ FTP solid/ UTP stranded/ FTP stranded Cat 6 UTP solid/ FTP solid/ UTP stranded/ FTP stranded Cat 6a UTP solid/ FTP solid/ UTP stranded/ FTP stranded Cat8? Tested at many lengths. 10ft, 25ft, 50ft, 100ft, 150ft, 200ft, 250ft, 300ft, 350ft, 400ft, 450ft, 500ft, 600ft, 700ft, 800ft, 900ft, 1000ft Tested at speeds 100mbit, 1gbit, 2.5gbit, 5gbit, 10gbit, (40gbit?) -
Keybase keybase.io is a great and free encrypted messaging app. You get encrypted cloud storage, encrypted git, and encrypted teams. The whole thing is open source, keybase's hosted version is free.

The 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ sucks it randomly raises the system reserved to 4GB even with a manual over clock. The only sulloution I can find is go in to the BIOS rest the settings and then apply the overclock again.- 10 replies

You could not buy the game on steam for about 15 minutes earlier today. That is not a good sign.
