  1. Figured it out, I was using a dell 65w charger, with an adapter (7.4 to 4.5 dongle) turns out that dongle was bad, as soon as I plugged in another xps charger (without adapter) it started up just fine, saved me buying a new battery for no reason
  2. Gives me something to think about, because I was eventually thinking of going the amd upgrade path, with probably a 1700x, with an asrock board, which would mean that one way or another I will have to go for ddr4
  3. It's just that currently I cannot OC the i7 with what mobo I have, so basically if I want to oc, either I get the i5 or send more to OC the i7
  4. I currently own a i7 2600k, with a gigabyte ga b75m hd3 mobo, I can basically trade it in for an i5 6600k, with a ga z170 hd3, which will enable me to oc the i5. Basically I can do an even trade from i7 to i5, and not have to spend any extra money to OC. What I am trying to ask, is it worth it, or should I go for a p68 mobo for the i7? Thanks
  5. Update, I removed the cmos, removed the main battery, plugged only cmos back in, and it turns on now, so main battery is presumably dead, only other thing is that it doesnt recognize it's original adapter, yet still powers on
  6. Its 4,1 yes, here's another thing, when I remove charger, unplug battery, unplug cmos battery, drain using power button, then plug cmos, then battery, then charger, it first gives me the 3 amber, 1 white (flashing slow), then it attempts to boot and the fan spins briefly and then I returns to giving then4, 1 code, which flashes very fast
  7. I have a xps 9360 i5 128gb, that flashes 4 amber lights and one white, when I attempt to turn it on. When i remove the battery, instead of turning on, on ac power, the power led lights up, and then the white light flashes once and it turns off, any ideas? Thanks
  8. It starts dropping to 1600ish mhz from 3.4, and then goes back up and repeats
  9. I recently replaced my thermal paste, and decided to run prime 95 on my i7 2600k, with a cooler master t2 cooler, it ran fine for the first couple minutes, and then it started throttling, at around 55c, any idea why? Thanks
