I forgot to mention that - I don't care much about games on mac. My use case i 8-10 hours per day reader / writing code. So what I need (I guess) is to have clear fonts etc. Right now Im using iiyama prolite e2210hds (full hd, 22", TN) and it's just bad... especially compared to retina.

Hi there! So im looking for a 24 inch display with: - 4k - usb-c - Flicker free would be nice imo but as I see there are no such monitors. Or Im just not able to find any. Yes, there is LG UltraFine 4k (21.5 inch) and I could take it.... but the opinions / rating and price is just.. bad There are plenty with 27" but that is too much for me. So Im thinking... Is there any real "big" difference about 1440p and 4k (which will be scaled to 1440p anyway)? If yes - I will be force to give up usb-c. Any suggestions?
