  1. Hi! would like to ask here how much power can an intel nuc consume for 24/7 and will run for a month and will be used for farming ingame. here are the info: - intel nuc i3-7thgen -no keyboard / mouse / monitor after setup (TightVNC will be used as remote access) -will run only old game mu online and Exitlag for VPN tunnel (see picture for resource consumption) would like to know if this will add thick amount on my electricity bill (Philippines). Thanks!
  2. you can add another xeon processor with the same model. we use DL360, DL60 and DL380 at my work. since we host a lot of database and application server we opt for two CPU's and lot's of ram. I even got mistake for purchasing expensive HPE rams that are not compatible for the exact server so read the PDF manual or on HPE site if you are trying to get one.
  3. 8pcs memory sticks with wrong labels, coincidence? I think not. probably a xdeal to cheap out on memory with a correct quoted price one. anyway thank you for the information. can't really test this out quickly since those 2 DL360 with 5115 processors are production servers that we avoid to do maintenance because of its load.
  4. This is what the error showed on those installed 64gb RDIMMS on the DL360 Gen10 with the 5115 processor It was seen as 256gb on each processor both the wrong dimms and old dimms but on our Vcenter client. it registered only 256gb memory probably the old memory.
  5. This was what DIMMS are installed and got me to buy the P3053-0A1 and this is what the iLO showed. RDIMM sticker with a LRDIMM configuration. So my plan is to remove this LRDIMMS and install them to another server with the same specs DL360 with 5115 processor and Install my new 8pcs 64gb rdimms on the other server also DL360 5115 processor
  6. well I got tricked. installed was 64gb at LRDIMMS I will post it later when I got home
  7. Its a DL 360 Gen 10 with Intel gold 5115
  8. Hi just a follow up. this list is from HPE website. there are No 64GB listed. does that matter or it will still work fine? for context the server can't be powered off unless scheduled since its our production server which contains VMs that hold Database and apps for our system and Email servers. Bought the Wrong Memory and it was listed for Xeon 2nd Gen Scalable Processor
  9. I have a question. Does Intel Xeon Gold 5115 Processor(DL360 Gen10 Server) supports a HPE 64gb ddr4-2933 CAS-21-21-21 RDIMM Memory? Does anyone tried to install on it? Thanks!
  10. Hi, well I will start with that I am new to server hardware and stuff. I just have some questions about intel xeon memory compatibility. 1. Does a 1st gen xeon scalable processor ( e.g. xeon gold 5115 ) will run with a 2nd gen memory ( e.g. HPE P03053-0A1 64GB 2Rx4 DDR4 2933 RDIMM ) at the processor's max speed? or will not be usable at all? 2. Does a 3rd gen xeon scalable processor run or be compatible with the same ram above that is listed at HPE memory matrix support page as a memory of a 2nd gen scalable processor. for context I got F***ed up by buying this memory HPE P03053-0A1 64GB 2Rx4 DDR4 to install on a server with an Intel Xeon Gold 5115 processor. And my reference for buying this memory? the existing memory which has a sticker "Partsquick 64GB PC4-23400 2933 RDIMM" but when I looked on its specs inside the server's iLO. it registered as LRDIMM without a manufacturer or part no. I trust the sticker label of the existing installed than its specs in iLO and look it up on HPE memory matrix support page. I do know about building desk computers, gaming or for other use. but servers are new to me. as per my 2nd question we are looking to install it on a server with a 3rdgen xeon scalabale processor if its supported. I hope anyone could help me here. you can see the image of what memory fooled me.
  11. I tried installing it. I know that LRDIMMS and RDIMMS should not be installed together. but the server memory capacity increase with a compatibility error on its iLO. which I looked on the Vsphere client the host memory, it did not add up not like with in the iLO. Total should be 512gb

  13. Probably fans. try to check those if some are spinning slow. that might be it.
  14. try removing the 2TB HDD. its either that or there is something wrong with your SSD.
  15. I doubt operating system is the problem since the in different version of windows( 7/8.1/10 ) can access the pc that I can't access. also IP range and Vlan is not the problem since other VLAN can access both TightVNC remote tool, Network sharing and Ping of the PC that I can't access. The only problem is on the PC that I use. I can access it days before, but until yesterday I had this problem that I can't. To give you an example. Windows 10 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.0.124 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk can access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246 Windows 8.1 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.8.11 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk can access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246 Windows 10 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.8.59 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk CANNOT access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246 Windows 10 with ESET Antivirus with an IP 10.44.8.24 that has a fortinet firewall in the netowrk can access the PC Windows 10 with an IP 10.44.10.246 but those PC with IP's that can access the PC with an IP 10.44.10.246 can Access the problem PC that has an IP 10.44.8.59. Tried Checkdisk / Tried Sfc scannow / Tried system restore.
  16. Hi, I just want to ask if someone had a solution to a problem that I encountered? I am accessing a PC through network sharing, TightVNC remote tool, and even try to ping that PC's IP but it is not visible to my PC. but on another PC in the same network that PC can be accessed and has a ping. I narrow the problem to my pc but don't know the next step to fix it. can anyone help me with my problem?. Thanks!
  17. Go for the 250gb ssd, games you mostly play on it and the OS+apps, some games or files on 7200rpm hdd then archive files on the 5400rpm hdd.
  18. I download the latest 417.something because of Battlefield V won't run on 3xx below. I havent had an issue and my VC temp(1060 6gb) is peak on 60c played for two hours tho i havent try in other games if my FPS drop will update later.

  20. Hi Guys, as of today 12/17/2018 GMT+8 Phillippines. I`ll just ask if the nvidia drivers after Driver version 399.24 still has fps drop on 10series card. I am using a gtx 1060 6gb on a ryzen 3 1200 and 8gb ram which I think that my 1060 is not maxing its performance because of the hardware I have and dont wan't the drivers update nerfs even a little, i dont want to lose a few fps on the update. Thanks!
  21. I use a 650VA APC UPS on my 500watts pc setup with 1 22" LED montior and 1 19" LCD montior. it never goes overload while using it or dying but they said that a gaming set up should have aleast 1000VA UPS.
  22. they have a lot of branches just contact them in facebook maybe you are 1 to 2 rides from them.
  23. @jonnyGURU I am using a vs450 with grey label on my ryzen 3 1200 and GTX1060 6GB all are in stock clock. I am using it for months I have also used a msi rx580 8gb oc before I swapped it to a gtx1060 6gb. is mine better because of the grey label? and to the poster I bought a grey labeled one in manila philippines.
