That's sad. Still Samsung is one of the best if not the best SSD manufacturer. You won't regret getting them.

    Hello,

My asus laptop has a software called ASUS battery health charging which regulates the point upto which I can charge the laptop battery.
For example if I set the limit to 80%, the laptop will stop charging when it has reached 80%.
I love this software because it prevents over charging the battery, but unfortunately it has only 3 levels, 60%,80% and 100%.

I was wondering if it is to create such a script file which will do the same thing but in it I can select the levels up until which it will charge.

    Can someone help me?

    Thanks in Advance

Id say thats wrong. Coax, well ISPs that use Coax tend to use 5 Mhz to 1 Ghz or so for TV and Internet Services. You know what else uses those bands? Broadcast TV, Cellular, etc. As a result if the coax cable or a connector goes bad, you will have tons of noise on the wire. I can tell you for a fact I have a bit of interfrence on my coax delivering my internet. You can check for it in your modems diaonstic pages if you have access.

Also if you internet is delivered by Coax then you eaither have a Cable provider or a Fiber provider. If you have a Cable provider then the modem is 110% needed. If its a Fiber provider then going straight Ethernet is probably OK.

What if you modem needs to be rebooted? You going to call the ISP every time? When you can just unplug it. Also here in Murica they dont provide us with that kind of option. All of the utilities in my area are in the air. So they have no option to keep the modem in a post, even places that have underground utilities dont do that.

Why coax and not optic fiber?
Optic fiber is way better and is future proof.
    Coax is ancient.

Have you tried to boot from a linux live usb stick... It may narrow down the problem futher..
Don't try to install, just boot from the usb stick and see if it spits some kind of error...
Hope this clear things up a bit more.

    Then take Ryzen 2600
    HyperX Predator 16GB DDR4 3000mhz
    ASRock - AB350M Pro4 am4 Micro ATX
    Corsair 100R ATX Mid tower
Seasonic Focus Gold plus 550W (to leave room for future upgrades)
    Total: Around $382.75 (PCpartpicker)

Throw in there used 1060-or 1070 and you'll be able to even game on it - if you can't afford that buy 1030/1050ti
For HDD or SSD it's up to you, there is hardly any difference from day to day use
For SSD's go for the budget Kingston A400 250GB or if you can spend a bit more for Samsung 850/860 Evo

No matter how good you are at something, it would always be beneficial to you to get something better but then, there is a limit called budget. If you're on tight budget I suggest going for a Ryzen build. If you say what's the budget we can work something out

It works but both will work on the frequency and timings of the slower stick, also if the motherboard supports dual channel memory, you'll be limited to only the first 4gb in dual channel, if you use more memory it goes into single channel mode.

Thank you again but since this is the family pc and I am the most heaviest user, I am just thinking of passing my workload's eligibility criteria.
I may build another one for myself in two or three years.
