  1. When i plug in my display port sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt thrue the gpu. Nvdia control panel is all over the place with refresh rate sometimes 144 sometimes 100 it only allows I have a 240hz monitor. Is it my gpu that is bad or it is the monitor that is bad. Or the cable when I use hdmi it display everthing. Sometimes the display port works correctly but ably allows 144 max refreshrate when I try 240hz give a no signal sighn. Could this be my gpu going bad or it the monitor or cable.

    That could be it

Always best to update through manufacturer website as much as a hassle that can be at times

I don't believe there is a single reliable driver update tool out there

I used the same tool to upodate before tho

  3. I got all the driver updated and everything I was having some display issues when I did the restore point gpu was not able to display thru DP. Now I got everthing working I was able to play fornite before the restore at 240hz that my monitors refresh rate after the update I can only get 144hz for some reason when I try and use 240hz I get a blank screen that says no display then goes back to 144hz and everything is displaying. Any body know how to fix this issue. everything updates on pc with driver booster. gpu 1080ti monitor benq xl2540 im using the cable that came with the monitor. I don't even get the option of 240hz in nvdia control panel anymore. I updated everything with driver booster before and I could get 240hz before

Try booting to windows in safe mode with everything set to GPU, this will force windows to use their display driver thought the gpu. If that fails then you have an issue with your card. Have you recently had pc issues or something, why are you restoring windows? did you upgrade your pc and now you're trying to use an old windows install with the new motherboard etc? because it simply will not work and you're going to continue to struggle to get it to work.

I was playing games on my gpu earlier and everthing was working fine everthing was displaying thrue the gpu. Me and my brother play on the pc and had alot of file that I didnt use so I thought I'm just gonna restore everthing to get it back to fresh and now this is happening. My system was running like normal before this thrue ththe displayport on gpu. So I dont think its the gpu issue

  5. So  I restored windows 10 my monitor will only bring the bios and display it but not the setup part for windows 10 it wont display. It gets no signal it says what could be going on I hear Cortana talking in my headphone to set things up but there is no display only display I get is when starting ththe computer as soon as it goes into start up fofor windows no signal. Also display everthing when I'm in bios no matter how long I'm in there. Any tipa or help guys.im using a display port. Gpu 1080ti that's where I'm connected. Cpu i78700k MB asus z370f. Monitor benq xl2540.

Sounds like a display driver issue. I would also check your bios is set to display out of the GPU and not the CPU, doesn;t that motherboard have a display out? Try plugging into the mobo not the gpu and see if that displays windows, if so we have found the issue, either install the latest video driver and see if this fixes it, if not go to bios and set video out to gpu only.

I did connect it to the motherboard and nothing. So I want into bios /adavanced mode/advance/system agent configuration/graphics configuration/primary display/pcie wich is the gpu. And still nothing ima try and switch it to cpu now and see what happens

  8. I moved everthing into a new case today for better air flow. I didnt take off the aio off the gpu just because I didnt have thermal compound just pointing that out. My aio use to sit in the front in my old case now it seats at the top of the new case. When I start it up it runs at 100c solid. Why could this be that my cpu is running at 100. I just shut it off right away. 1st pic old build 2nd pic new build. Could it be where I moved the motherbaord and aio together that maybe effected the thermal paist. Also the aio was a little loose so I tightened it to finger strength nothing overboard tho. Everthing is running pump fan luiquid everthing. As it should except the hot temp. That what the thermal paist looks like was that to little to much will be getting new thermal paist will have to wait on order tho. 15520059685316163274702285620902.thumb.jpg.59d7eba97c00a69f11569eb0d22e6eaa.jpg

No not really. I noticed that in the minimum framerate. Are your overclocked or running something not stock? And do other games/tests do this or just unigine heaven.

No gpu running stock and cpu running little overclocked nothing more then 4.6 switch is the boost clock. So still stock. In the game I dont feel the stutter only sometimes like not every gaming session. Why could this be you think gpu problem????

  10. I'm running a stress test on my evag 1080tisc that I got someday ago. I'm using msi kombustor to stress test gpu. I'm getting small stutters every so often very small tho. The picture I posted is the image on the stress test it goes up and down side to side and it stutter very little. Why is this??? Also another question. Why cant i overclock my GPU when I do it crashes right away is it that my power supplie is to low I'm over clocking the core clock 40 at a time but crashed right away then I overclock the memory clock by 100 and crashes right away  How long should I run the test for???? What fan speeds is your AIO at? if your cpu is chilling at 50-60c doing a not cpu intensive game, the fans will be barely spinning. Set them to 800-1200 rpm, and see new temps.

I did what you said an bam gpu running max at 71c highest with only 75% fan speed insted of 100%. I also switched from fans in front of the rad put them in the back to pull air. Insted of push

  14. I'm wondering how could I keep my gpu cooler I get those temps on overwatch. Running the gpu on max fan speed.

How could I get better air flow I cant find anyway to get better air flow. I cant put aio on top because the mother board Z370-F foesnt give it enough space. Any tips guys. Muchify c case, mob z370f, aio kraken x62, 2 stock fans in the back cpu 8700k. Aio stopping alot of the airflow.

in a business i assume? those are way better to buy than normal cards, because businesses make sure they always run in the most optimal conditions and are much better maintained

He said he ran them in a house. I used the cards for training Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) for academic research he said

  16. I'm building my pc I'm confused as where should I connect the Aio. So the kraken x62 has a fan splitter that connect the 2140mm fans into the aio. The aio has a 3 pin connector I'm wondering where should I connect it to the Cpu_opt or the aio_pump connector. Should I use the fan splitter that poweres the fans thrue the aio or should I connect the fans directly to the Motherboard????

Get neither, the BenQXL2540 has the best panel of all 240Hz I've seen. 240Hz is the best gaming monitor, but 1440p 144Hz with an IPS panel looks really good all around. So it depends on if you want to be overly competitive or if you want an all-around great display. Personally, I think one of both works best, one 240Hz 1080p and one damn good VA or IPS 1440p display for a secondary for when it matters what you're looking at, if it never really matters, just get the 240Hz.

Here it is on their refurb site, I have two of them (one for me, one for the fiancee), they're great, their refurbs are like new, and they look much better than Alienware and Asus' 240Hz panels. If you buy it, be sure to use honey to get a bigger discount. They're basically always running a promocode. Got my 240Hz for like $250. Almost a $1/Hz.

Code honey is not working tho ??? Sucks
